Advice to young people: seek knowdge and mentors.
When you’re young , it’s very difficult to navigate life. There’s no road map to tell you where to go , when to go , how fast you need to go, etc. You are just filled with energy and ambition but just don’t know where to put your intentions.
So how do we navigate this landscape as a young 20 year old ? When I was a 16 years old, All I knew is that I wanted to be a mechanic and own my own business I just didn’t know how to get there. My best advice is to find your passion and get exceptionally good at it. I surrounded myself with competent mechanics and was hoping around different shops. My goal was to seek knowledge because in your young 20s , it’s about constant failing and learning. Once you get whatever you’re good at , that’s when you should worry about building your own business.
It took me 16 years to become an overnight success. The only reason I can do what I can do now is because I became the best mechanic that I could be. Seek knowledge and mentors and you will be rewarded favourably for it.
