I'm so glad that you find peace and relief through God. There's nothing in this world having His assurance and peace of mind that He'll take care of us and we only need is to trust in our Father. We can find Him in us, in nature, in wildlife, in bible, in history. He knocks everyday at our heart door. Is our choice to ignore or to open. Btw I love that the swallow has came back! I love the idea of reclaiming the word god. I’ve struggled with this too as a reformed atheist. My views keep expanding on this topic and the word god resonates strongly these days. Much more so than “the universe “ which no longer feels deep enough

I feeeel you, I'm very familiar with this. So, there's two parts of you, the part that wants to beat yourself up and punish you so that you 'learn' through pain and fear, and there's another part of you, that is the opposite, eternally forgiving, compassionate and loving... How do you embody, the forgiving and loving part of you? Practice, intentionally noticing and changing our thoughts, choices, actions, words, to be in alignment with the 'higher' more loving part of us. Which part of you do you think is asking this question? (it's the loving part of you) x

This was a massive revelation that you received. One of the biggest reasons people do not find God is that we humans have a huge issue of not wanting anyone to tell us what to do… not even God. The One who knows all things. Rather than seeking God to find out who He is, we want to create a god in our own image. In other words, we create an idol, in our own minds, that looks, thinks and acts like us. When you really drill down, we either believe God is God, or we are our own god. In terms of people being hypocritical, unfortunately, a lot of what is called the “Church” today is not what God intended. It has gotten way off course. The “Church” is people, the family of God. Not an institution or a building or brand.

Ultimately, I know nothing, it’s all chaos and mania!

I use the term - Creator. It feels less - um - hard to put into words - but less "commercial" man-made. Like a giant Moses with a glowing face. Creator feels more All and Everything. Like beyond all our conceptions. If you try to put a concept or rules or image to Creator - then it is no longer the Creator. This is only my thing. It's how I look at it. Absolutely no judgement on how others feel or their journeys. We can only each take our OWN journey. BUT - you did ask... ☺

Calling who? Benjamin? You know that ego’s aren’t real, they are made up stories of identity, so should my ego have a relationship to God? God+Something that doesn’t exist…? What’s more intimate than being consciously aware that nothing exists outside of the divine? How can my ego ‘improve’ upon a relationship where separation is a total illusion?
