BRING ‘SIR JACKIE CHAN’ PLEASE, so i can die in peace
I have known Peter for almost 10 years now and have done many ultra runs with him in the hills of the Western Ghats. It was an exhilarating experience doing such expeditions with him; he would often take the path less trodden and knew how to make the entire journey full of fun and adventure. One of the most humble and inspiring people out there. There is so much to learn from him.
So happy to see Peter on this podcast. I was part of the Chennai trekking club in 2008-2010 period and Peter was the main guy in it. Such a wonderful soul, totally built for nature and the wilderness. I couldn't swim back then so Peter gave me piggyback swim sprints in a small lake during Nagalapuram trek. I also remember most of us climbing onto his Scorpio car's side rails while he drove uphill on some rocky paths❤ Also reminds me of the time when I was hesitating to jump down from a massive boulder during our walk downhill, and Peter was behind me and suddenly shouted, "Snake! Snake!".. no surprise I jumped down in no time only to find everyone laughing at me😂 😂 (There was no snake, Peter had tricked me).. Such amazing memories that I will always cherish. Thanks Peter! Rock on !

What an amazing guest!!! Listen to what he has to say in the end- "Life is short- We live on a very beautiful planet. Don't just keep working, take a break and experience nature before you get too old" I was really blessed to have had a chance to experience the Himalayas!

I have hiked with CTC and with Peter. He literally has a huge impact on my life .. because of him my fitness has improved and I love hikes, running and I still hike and go for marathons. As Peter says "Mind over body Tambis" ❤
This collab was never expected, used to trek / do bike riding with Peter during early ctc days . Seeing his interview bought back a lot of memories. This guy can summit Mount Everest without oxygen 😊
Trekked and hung out with him a few times. Most humble and down earth guy.
Wow Peter Van Geit!! I always wanted to meet him. A mutual friend of mine told me about this guy when I was on my first solo trip before moving to abroad. He says " Monica you know there's this friend of mine called Peter, he is from Belgium and been living and travelling in India for almost 20 years now. He has something interesting to say about India, even though he is from a European country he says that before travelling outside India, try to travel within India. Because this country has everything to offer from deserts to forests, from lakes to beaches, from hills to mountains etc you name it you've got it. It's like travelling around the world if you're travelling within India." That amazed me so much. Because I was so convinced by the idea that other countries have much more to offer than India. Hence moving out seemed very exciting at that young age but after what he said, everything made sense. I realized how easily we underestimate what we have. Kudos to this man for what he does. He is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
Omg... This guy came in Doda distt... Oh Gosh...Plzz do visit again... I would like to meet u... Im in paramilitary forces... From Distt kishtwar...Wtsoever this guy stated over here after his trekking observations, it makes me crazy living a shepherd life as we have a herd of 50-60 sheep.People here in hilly belts of Himalayas r truly living a non-materialistic life. Generous, kind n pure Hearted masses.... I wish people visit Himalayas rather than travelling abroad... My words r not enough to describe d beauty of Himalayan forests, mountains n d ppl living here... Invitation to all d creatures of this universe...Urs most vlkm in our world... ❤
This guy is a gem of a person! A warm, encouraging and as authentic a human as one can be!
Peter 🫶🏻 lots of love from Lokeren, Belgium

Wow....this guy is really amazing and knows how to enjoy life in the most simplest way ever. The wonderful tribe people he met are truly pure souls where I believe that is how a human being should be. People in cities are way so much more different than the tribes. We could learn hundred of things from the tribes.....pure love.
This guy is amazing...I have done all my treks and bike rides solely due to the inspiration from him !!
Our Peter , the founder of Chennai Trekking Club ❤️😍
Himalayas are very underexplored, himalayas are great pride of our india ,as someone who belongs to one of the indian himalayan state, it feels good to see such podcasts about himalayas ❤🏔. the folk, culture , traditions, and flora- fauna of himalayas are very rich & distinct .
This podcast is your one of the Best. This man is really a Great entity ... Blessed by God 200%. Thanks so much Ranveer.
Dude the timing is perfect. I’m in the process of recollecting a 3000 km trek “into the unknown” in the Himalayas that I took in 2020 and I lost all the footage. So I am going back on the journey through memory and google maps and with the few photos I have and making a narrated audio book on KZread. 🙏
I know Peter from last 10 years he is an amazing human being and belive in serving nature. Thanks for bringing him into your podcast 🎉
I can relate when he said people who have less facilities have big harts, because I'm from Chamba Himachal Pradesh. Now i can see my village's people are getting more greedy as they are going to cities but it was not like that.
Thanks, Ranveer. Listening to this podcast about someone's profound experiences with the mountains and the Himalayas provides a refreshing perspective on raw, natural living that is both inspiring and blissful. Please do come up with such podcast .. 👍
Been a part of CTC from 2014-2017, it has changed my life forever for good now, trust me.
Who wants David gogins at this podcast
Wonderful choice of guest Ranveer. Would love to see an episode out in the wild with you and Peter
Have been referring to peters course and curare content for years now during my solo Himalayan treks his maps and survival trips have been really helpful to traverse through remote Himalayas
First thing I've done after watching the podcast is that, I opened my insta and started following him... huge respect for peter
I have been following this guy for 2-3 years now. This guy is surely built differently.Hats off !
He is more Indian than most of us. So happy to see him here. Sending lots of love and wishes to you guys
Raveer you and your team need to bring in Professor Jeffery Meldrum for an interview if you want in depth knowledge on Himalyan yetis, and the North American Sasquatch aka Bigfoot. He is very knowledgeable about the anatomy of bipedal primates. Also India has a long history of yetis, from the Ramayan time the Vanaras are yetis. Eastern Nepal has high number of sightings. Assam has a history of yetis locally called Khenglong-po. Even Sri Lanka has red haired dwarf yetis. In Sri Lanka, the word "Vanara" has been used to describe the Nittaewos mentioned in the Vedda legends. Remember yetis are sighted in the eastern Himalayas not as much in western Himalayas. I would not look for yetis in Kashmir, or Himachal. There might be some in Uttrakhand. I've heard from a sherpa that he has sighted yetis in higher elevations above Chakrata, but I know for sure you have the highest chance of sighting yetis in higher elevations in Eastern Nepal, Butan, and definitely Arunachal Pradesh.
Peter is the main reason why I started a lot of outdoor activities....he is such a motivator....
Please interview Meenakshi amma of Puvidham. She is a homeschooling parent and she runs an amazing school. Her interviews are life changing. Durgesh Nandhini is another homeschooling parent who teaches how to lead a minimalistic life. Both of them are true inspirations
What a nice philosopy to look at the life, I really like Peter's approach to look around the people, nature, culture and food around while exploring various places! Really nice to watch and hear him. Thanks.
Peter is an inspiration, Glad i have learnt things from peter and have hiked along with him, he's so friendly, mischievous and down to earth man.. keep rocking peter, much Kudos to you
Wonderful content, so peaceful even to listen! Requesting more of such talks 🙏
This podcast is amazing...he is deeply connected with humanity...and his photos are out of the world .....he deserve the recognition 💕
Wow! Blown away by his experiences. Wish i could do it.
I’ve had similar experience when I was in Far west of Nepal in total isolation. Was camping without electricity without network connectivity, zero light pollution, totally inhabited area - one night was lying down and still remember that picture of our milky way above my eyes - totally unexplainable experience.
You made my day! Beautiful scenery! Loved this show! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️🕉️🕉️🕉️🇹🇯🇹🇯🛕🛕🛕😇😇😇😇😇

Sir, I really wanted to appreciate you for only doing paid promotions of the products that you personally believe in and not doing it just for the sake of money because I have observed a few other podcasters who have millions of subscribers and they are promoting certain fraud apps. May your honesty and ethics help you reach great heights of success💖. God bless you🙌.
