Adventures of Ellery Queen - "Murder to Music" (1952)

An ambitious young pianist won't let anyone prevent her from making her debut, even if it means murdering the conductor's wife. Starring Lee Bowman, this episode is from season two and is complete including the commercials for Kaiser-Frazer automobiles.
The Adventures of Ellery Queen began as a radio drama in 1939 starring Hugh Marlowe running until 1940. It aired on a couple of different networks again from 1944 - 1948. The television version was telecast on Dumont beginning Oct. 15, 1950.
Ellery Queen was a mystery writer who assisted his father, a detective with the New York Police Department, in solving murders. Queen's methods were intellectual rather than action oriented, and he always astounded his father by arriving at a correction solution by purely deductive reasoning.
