We actually took 3 days/2 nights for this trip. We wanted to spend a bit more time in each area, so we stayed in Wooster, OH, the first night, then near Ashtabula, OH, the next. Looking forward to visiting there again next Fall! Thanks for the kind comment!

Ohio's northeastern region rices from the shores of Lake Erie and blooms with ethnic neighborhoods , the Rock and Roll and Pro Football Halls of Fame and Cuyahoga Valley National Park.It stretches beyond subturban areas into rolling hills where highways dissolve into country roads, Basically, people live and create the way they want to here, and it makes for an amazingly diverse, authentic set of experiences.It has the highest concentration of Hungarian Americans in the United States. grew up in ashtabula county, always loved the covered bridges 😢❤ and the Covered Bridge Pizza restaurant was fun !

Gotta say I love my state of O-H-I-O✌🏾♥️

Someday I'm doing the covered bridge tour in Ashtabula County.

We only managed 10 or 11 on our short adventure. It's such a pretty part of Ohio. It feels worlds away from Central Ohio. The whole area reminds me of New England.

Ya I did allot of growing up in Ashtabula county, root road is actually one of the roads I lived on , nice to see the old bridge on such a nice video .🌈😊

Ohio has quite a lot to offer! Northeast Ohio typically sees a good amount of snow in the winter thanks to lake-effect snowfall off Lake Erie. The Summers tend to see temps in the low to mid 80s, though we do see periodic days in the 90s. Ohio's varied geography makes finding something fun to do easy, with tree-covered hills over much of the South and East parts of the state, and flat, fertile plains to the North and West. We also have two of the Best Amusement parks in the nation here. Like fishing, sailing, or boating? from Lake Erie to the Ohio River, we've got you covered. It's also not too expensive here, either. We also have lots of urban centers with plenty of career opportunities. If you decide to escape the Nevada desert, Ohio would love to have you! Thanks for watching and commenting!

I'm from Vegas originally and live in Northeast Ohio. Don't move here permanently until you see what it's like in winter. Long winters and less sunlight in the year ( snow is pretty but depending on the year, it gets old fast). You might have to travel far for work depending on where you land here. I have been here 6 yrs and pros would be it's more conservative than Vegas, you don't have to go far to see nature, nice family owned businesses. There is less to do as far as attraction wise. Outdoor activities when the weather is fair, that is when you see people most active. There are nice scenic routes in the country. If you move to Ohio find a nice place to nest, because there are many places full of blight and bad infrastructure( roads aren't great). My husband is from here and moved our family here because in Vegas it's ridiculously expensive now, so that's why I'm here.

Love the covered bridges. My would have liked them.

They got some in Vermont too as well! If you go from late September to mid October you will also see the best fall colors than you ever seen :)

We were surprised by how large of an Amish community was in Ashtabula County. On an weekend trip this spring, we discovered a small, but thriving Amish community in Adams County, Ohio as well!

When we visited the area, we avoided all major cities during this particular trip. There are many places all over Ohio that I want to visit, still. Mill Creek Park is already on my list of future places to visit. Historic sites, bridges, and waterfalls are always top of my list for visiting. Are there any other places near Youngstown that are "must see" sites? Thanks for commenting!

Thanks so much! This particular video was shot with my old iPhone SE and a Parrot Anafi drone. I've since upgraded to an iPhone 12 mini and a DJI Mini 2 drone.

Sorry to disappoint! Ohio has a lot of awesome things to see, but unless you visit Columbus around Halloween, you probably won't see too many zombies or giants. Meteor showers, however, we do get those on occasion. Thanks for the comment!

I mean you can find some zombies in some areas lol. Mansfield, Elyria, Lorain, etc. A lot of Ohio is naturally beautiful though. It's the man made stuff that usually makes Ohio look worse. Like abandoned run down businesses all over Lorain County (north east Ohio) and newly formed homeless shanty towns due to poverty. We do have some hope though as there is a very large push to bring Intel fabrication to Columbus which should if done right boost jobs and economy in the entire state. We will see. P.S. we have some super diverse wild life here if you're into that. I get opossums, deer, cardinals, herons, humming birds, bats, frogs, toads, salamanders, turtles, an occasional nosy fox, coyote (dangerous keep away and discourage this visitor) even some lizards specifically three lined skinks around my property. Deer are a problem though. Personally I like them but not when they jump in front of my 23 year old Lincoln. It's very hard to find parts for that car and I love it lol.

Cold, gloomy and dreary days on end in the winter.

Holmes and Coshocton counties are not in northeast Ohio.

On the particular trip I filmed this video, every location is Northeast of my home in Central Ohio. There doesn't appear to be a concrete list of where which county is considered to be in Ohio, either. For instance, if you reference Wikipedia, both Coshocton and Holmes counties appear in the "sometimes considered NE Ohio" category. But if you visit Ohio's official tourism website, Holmes County is considered NE Ohio, while Coshocton County is considered Appalachia. Ultimately though, for most folks visiting our state, NE gives them a reasonable understanding of where these areas fall in Ohio. Sorry for any confusion and thanks for your comment!

Well, we could debate this until the cows come home. But as I stated before, the waters are a bit muddied when it comes to where the different counties of Ohio fall on the compass point. For this particular video, Holmes and Coschocton Counties will continue to be considered NE Ohio. Regardless of where folks think they should be listed, the title of the video is more of a guidepost to those unfamiliar with our state. NE gives people a reasonable place to look on the map. I believe Holmes County is in the Cleveland Media Market which would qualify it to be considered Northeastern Ohio. I don’t know about Coshocton County. I agree with the author that both may be considered NEO for general geographic purposes.

Close enough to NE Ohio for me. And I'm in Portage County. Anyone visiting NE Ohio should certainly include Sugarcreek. Great video!
