Scott Adams Graphic Adventure #1 - (1984) port to the NEC PC-8801

I was playing through the Scott Adam's adventures... and then wanted to see the graphic versions of these which came out later. There are graphic versions for Applle II, Atari 8-bit, Commodore 64, Spectrum ZX... and then 3 ports to Japanese systems, the FM-7, NEC PC-8801 and PC-9801.
Couldn't find the FM-7 version, but did locate the PC-8801 and PC-9801 versions. Got them working in emulation and then was faced with the fact that everything was in Japanese. Not only the text, but the input system. That's a bit of a challenge. I knew how to solve the game, if I could only put in the commands somehow. But I couldn't even figure out how to GO EAST, or CLIMB TREE on the first screen.
Thus, I embarked on a sort of self-taught crash course in Japanese. Learned Katakana symbols and through the magic of google, and wikipedia began to be able to translate what was on screen. It then became a game of guess the "verb" and "noun" that would work. I could not find ANY walkthrough or solution guide online... but did get help twice from a KZreadr who had posted some gameplay of PC-8801 adventureland.
Here I finally get to present a complete walkthrough of the BEST graphical version anywhere of SAGA #1 - Adventureland. The system had higher resolution than others of its day. So struggling through to solve this, my first Japanese adventure ever... was worth it.
