I have 100%'d this game on PS4, and the game DOES run flawlessly. I have not experienced a loading time longer than 10 seconds, and it never crashed. That sucks it runs poorly on the Switch

It's not about the switch running it poorly... its about the developers not optimising this game for the Switch properly. Mario Odyssey runs circles around this game in terms of how much power it requires from the Switch... yet that game runs perfectly.

it's not bad just don't get it on switch get it on pc or ps4. The switch is less powerful then ps4 and pc so it makes sense that the game would run poorly on it. On pc and ps4 the game runs flawlessly.

Its good but get it on ANYTHING other than switch, I play it on Ps4 And its perfect, No lagging and Didn't crash

This game had crashed on me three times and I almost gave up on it. Twice it crashed in the dark woods area as I sailed in. It made me so mad. After that I took a two day break. I started again but I am always worried that the game will crash and I will lose all the progress. I started it again, because yllike you said, it is a good game. Please wait for the update so they can fix these issues. I really enjoy the intercom dialogue in the Candy kingdom.

This is heartbreaking. We need Windwaker II! I often wish all the zeldas were 'cartoony' rather than 'dark'. Windwaker and A Link Between Worlds are my absolute favourite Zeldas. They feel so much more engrossing than Twilight princess or Ocarina for that matter. Heck even Skyward sword was better in my opinion, and that was a similarly 'mature' zelda for those that don't like 'kiddie' zelda. Everytime Nintendo release a new zelda and its not a spiritual successor to Windwaker I die a little inside. 😵😥😑

I never liked Windwaker, for several reasons, but each to their own.

Oh man I remember the live stream....... it was terrible on the loading screens & the Gabe’s didn’t look that bad, but it was crashing.

You have to take your "time" in this "adventure"

Unfortunately they have not given me a good chance of picking up Windwaker. I am sitting here hoping for it to be ported to the Switch, but I am guessing it isn't gonna happen, and I have no plans on buying a Wii U or a new Gamecube (no clue where our Gamecube went)

Marcus 21 well that would depend on 2 things. 1. Only white OG design Wiis can run GameCube games. Later black designs can't. 2. You still would need to have a GameCube controller, gcn SD card, and the actual disc.

@@pixeldinodude4899 hmm. i dont really think thats it. sure its not nearly as powerful as the ps4 and xbox but it can still hold its own. we got skyrim and doom, which i think is pretty impressive for a freakin tablet. i think the issue is lazy developers. its just developers who dont care how bad it runs and just want to rush it out the door.

THANK GOD someone finally mentioned this game. I was so excited to finally get this game and the first five minutes of playing it were just sitting, waiting for the loading to end. It had so much potential but there were so many things that went wrong that I ended up only playing it for not even a day. (I also really wish they animated the cutscenes in the traditional 2D style.)

brrnay the patch definitely improved it. The cape flows better in the wind, but more importantly it doesn’t look like garbage when playing on the console anymore haha. Still could be a bit sharper but a big difference from where it started.

I think it is neat that they made a cast away reference talking about having a friend Watson that is round and it looks like they even put the blood red hand print on the characters face!

I like the graphical style

I was so excited for this game for months. I started getting skeptical when I couldn't find any news on it. Then when it was delayed a few months ago, I knew there might be a problem. Then the reviews came in and it was a done deal for me.

Such a shame. I've played this game through gritted teeth trying to ignore all the bugs and terrible loading times. The gameplay is quite fun, but when the game crashed on me three times in one day, I just gave up. I'm hoping a patch fixes it, but since there's no News channel for it on Switch, I'll probably wind up forgetting it exists. Shame.

I had a lot of issues and the best way I found fixing it was “quit game and reload” somehow that fixed issues idk why that is but it did. I really hope the devs do something about it and I’m sure it’s all cn games fault it got rushed out.

Thanks for the review! I love Adventire Time and was debating picking this up but now I will wait until a patch comes put.

I'm a fan of Adventure Time so I ended up preordering the game. I think your review hits the nail on the head. The game felt like it had so much potential but felt short on what seemed like either a rushed production or a tight budget. The good parts were really fun but the bad parts were absurdly bad. I think anyone looking to buy the game should take a close listen to this review!

My first time I went to the evil forest, my team just froze looking at the camera. I tried pausing and unpausing, closing then reopening the game, but somehow I got it to work by starting a new game closing the game completely then opening it again and hitting continue.

Great review man! I had no intentions of picking this up but it was good you informed us of the pros and cons of this game. It looks fun but those bugs just pull me away from it.

Every Time when I start any Switch Game, for example Octopath or Stardew Valley, when I circle my Sticks on my Pro Controller during the start, when on the bottom is written Nintendo Switch, any Game crashes every time when I am doing it. Its a game that is truly a 9.5 out of 10 quality game, revolutionized the origination of RPG's, new style of graphics with seemless enjoyable gameplay for hours on end and funny, dramatic, and dark stories these characters individually go through. This game is a solid 80-150 hour game at most.

So many glitches ☹️ It’s annoying to wait so long to load, but the glitches in the middle of a fight are the most frustrating thing to me! I hit a spot where the game freezes and I can’t do anything so I have to quit and restart before I give up in frustration. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m so sad!

In wind waker, the developers used the wind to prevent the player to reach a region too fast that was not loaded yet. It was a very organic way to control the gameplay with a reasonable cause for you to stir away from your goal.

there was a Halloween costume RPG time traveling game on the wiiU for pretty cheap. it had kind of generic graphics but a weird fun story and good combat, where your special was to transform into your costume, like go from a kid throwing punches in a cape to literally being a superhero. it wasn't amazing but for the price it was definitely worth it. this reminds me of that game, minus the low price and minus the ability to actually run.
