In this chapter, we are going back to beautiful Costa Rica riding along the Nicoya peninsula and its beautiful pacific ocean beaches…..but this time, I will trade my BMW 850 GS for a KTM 690. In fact both of us will be riding on KTMs.
The KTM690 is lighter and easier to maneuver than the 850, and although not as comfortable on pavement, it is a great bike on rough terrain with lots of power.
We are planning beach riding, river crossings and spending some time in the beautiful town of Tamarindo….
