Adventure Racing Navigation Tips by Andrea Anderson | Team thisABILITY Racing
Спорт
The all-women Buff Betty 4 and 8-hour Adventure Race attracts racers of all levels and experiences. For many, this was their first race. One of the most common requests is for navigation training. With this in mind, Andrea Anderson from Team thisABILITY took some time to break down the 8-hour race and explain the strategy she would have used and some tactics to approach some of the different checkpoints. There are tons of little nuggets and valuable takeaways in here but if there are any questions, please put them in the comments and we will do our best to answer them. We may make another video to further explain some of the concepts if needed.
Enjoy.

Thanks Andrea! I've entered my first NZ AR and this time I won't have you and Chip to navigate for me so I'm learning all I can! I can't wait :)
Thanks, Andrea. This information and perspective on route choice is invaluable for new racers and those looking to improve their skills. Hoping to see you at a race sometime in the future!
Very helpful. Thank you!
Hi create post. As a Rogaine and a scout leader this a great teaching tool. Good practical advise. Thanks again
