Adventure Hiking : Shady Climbing Rope. Dangerous Cliffs. Freezing Waterfalls. Sounds Good To Me!
Howdy Fellow Adventurers!
In This Weeks Video We Are Back In Rubio Canyon Los Angeles.
My Goal Was To Push Farther Into The Trail Then Id Ever Been, Which Required Climbing A Section Of Near Vertical Slope Using Some Pretty Questionable Climbing Rope. The Result Of The Extra Adventure Was A Discovery Of Some Beautiful Waterfalls I Had All To Myself.
Im Not Sure Where Else In Los Angeles You Can Cool Down At The Bottom Of A Waterfall You Have All To Yourself, While Looking Over Downtown LA.

That shady rope was the thin line between a great adventure and a missing hiker. I found one of those in WV. I loved it.

Couple folks didn’t make it this summer in this area unfortunately. Went a little far off the communicated plan they shared with friends and family. Not sure how long these falls will be roaring into the summer, trying to come here as much as possible, I cannot believe this beautiful paradise isn’t packed with Angelenos. Yet again on a Sunday I have this all to myself as I overlook downtown Pasadena and LA. I have one cell service bar as I write this, sitting in a helinox chair next under the grand chasm falls. I found another shady rope even further up…more to explore yet!

Yes it was! Not sure how long that rope has been there, but getting up top was worth it
