    I own this bike (2022 V2S). I live in Northern Arizona. I ride dirt, mud, gravel 80% of the time. (80%+ of our land is public use) So I ride mountains off road and deserts off road mostly. I have dumped my Multistrada V2S half a dozen times far away from any help in the 5 months I have owned it. People think I am crazy for riding solo so far from assistance. BUT... Brother... you are the truly crazy one for riding a 500 pound vehicle in that kind of insane traffic!! I would feel safe driving a Sherman Tank there. Nothing less.

    Ha ha ha!!! :) I am not sure if I may take it as a compliment, but I am simply gonna. First of all, Congratulations on owning such a fabulous motorcycle. As you might have already guessed. I am in love with it. Wow! North Arizona. I just went through some videos. It is so beautiful. Must be super fun riding it off road. I have not explored that side of motorcycling yet. I feel the crazy ones are what these machines are built for, no? Thank you so much for watching, Jim. Maybe sometime I shall make a trip to the USA and we could catch up on a ride! Shall gain some off road riding skills by then :D

    It's very rare to see this bike being used in 'our' conditions and in our traffic. Thanks a lot for doing this. Again gave a great perspective of the speed as well as how it handles the broken roads. Is 95 octane optional or mandatory?

  • @motovarun

    @motovarun

    Hey Sriram, you’re absolutely welcome. Yes! The motorcycle is fab. Regarding the fuel, it’s not a must, but maintaining high octane fuel for the most part will help. But as you might already know, since these are high compression engines, fuel with a better RON number(regular fuel in India is 91 RON) helps in the performance and minimising the knocking at lower RPMs. The higher up you move in the lineup the more essential it becomes to maintain high octane fuel. Hope this information helps.

    The GS is more off road friendly and far more linear in power delivery. It’s got a 21 inch front, if I remember correctly, makes it more apt for harsh roads, no roads and paths. The MTS V2 is a hoot!!! It’s just incredible fun on road and slight off road. The balance on the bike is exceptional. You’ll feel the power from the get go. Not too sure you’ll find the same laid back comfort as the GS. The V2 is definitely a touring machine but with a bit more heart! It’ll put a huge grin on your face and let you forget you’re riding such a big motorcycle! If you’re the more relaxed, taking the not so paved roads, you might enjoy the GS. Hope this helps!

    @@motovarun it's a very good bike sir good choice But sir what's your opinion on scrambler 803?

  • @motovarun

    @motovarun

    Жыл бұрын

    @@abhisheksoni7801 I think it is a good bike, but also depends on what kind of rider you are. As a bike it does have a certain raw quality to it, which I love. It has a brilliant low end torque and rumble. For Indian roads this bike is a lot of fun especially on daily commutes. Until the 2022 version, it has only ABS and no other electronic rider assist. Which makes the bike old school and you have to control it mindfully. The hydraulic clutch is a blessing. The bike steers well but it not as sharp as many of the street motorcycles, understandable - it being a sort of a scrambler. But it most definitely is an agile motorcycle. You can have a very relaxed riding posture and a aggressive one when needed. (will be putting up some videos on minor mods I am making to make the motorcycle more to my liking) I will also suggest, if one has the budget, they should definitely look at the Monster 937. Cause, very quickly you might feel the need for a slight bit more power if you are somewhat a quick rider. Not to say that the 803 is not powerful. Yet again, it all comes down to your usage and type of rider you are.
