Advanced Riding September 2017 Day 2 from Dumfries to Moffat, A701 to Edinburgh, Peebles, Selkirk, Moffat and Dumfries.

Also it was an Advanced ride down 50 odd miles of what many people consider to be the best biking road in Britain. The A708 Selkirk to Moffat road!! RJH Advanced Workshop September 2017, had 5 riders in the group, one returning rider from our last workshop who couldn't resist coming again. We had some great Indian summer weather here that weekend. This was a great ride, due to weather, company, scenery but also because there was only little traffic going the same direction as us.
Graham, Myself, Paul, Bob and Sean had a good trip.
It really was a trip to remember and they keep getting better..

Love the parking in Moffat green motorcycle turns into rocking horse lol
You will enjoy the ride from Moffat to Selkirk also called the (grey mares tail) this road will be a great test to all your cornering skills.
As a newbie DAS rider i find these videos really helpful especially comments on positioning and advanced planning for possible hazards and overtaking

Im up in Lanarkshire Scotland passed mod 2 last month. When im riding i try to think what your commentary would be when tackling more technical sections of road it genuinely helps.👍

Approach slowly, always give way to your right. Do some homework before you go for your CBT.

Is it true when you do your figure of 8 if you put your feet on the floor it's a instant fail?

Not on a CBT. On a Module 1 then yes a foot down would generally be a fail.
