ADVANCED SKIMBOARDING TRICKS | HOW TO W/ 3X WORLD CHAMP BLAIR CONKLIN

Спорт

SUBSCRIBE: kzread.info?su...
World Champion Blair Conklin teaches you how to learn advanced tricks on a skimboard. The approach and technique that he explains will help get you going in the right direction. While all these tricks are much easier to learn on the beach or dry sand, the end goal is to complete while riding a wave. Blair describes foot placement and balance that will help you complete the more skate style tricks a skimboard has to offer. He breaks down how you complete a 360 shuv it, a big spin, and the frontside and backside variations of each.

Good one again guys. Could you please teach us about timing next because even though I can sideslip 10 to 15m I'm usually a tad too early or late, and rarely get the perfect one. Cheers

Loving the videos! They have helped a ton! I have been making use of a friend’s skimboard and I’m looking to purchase my own. I was hoping to get a recommendation by someone more experienced in regards to what type of skimboard would be best for an area with small to medium surf and no real breaks other than shore breaks. If you have the opportunity I’d love to hear your thoughts/recommendations?

I would relate learning tricks on the flats skimming to flat-ground skateboarding. Great way to learn tricks and in skateboarding it's just another aspect of the sport, no need to talk about flat-skimming in a condescending way, it's just another aspect of the sport.

I don't live anywhere near the beach so I started watching your videos recently and was very interested in skin boarding. I learnt to skim board with the one step within a day then became consistent whilst running as fast as I could within about 6 days so on the last day of our trip I tried learning two tricks but I was useless😂 don't know why I'm watching this.

The purpose of the sand mound is to get the feeling of the board spinning under your feet.
