This is the Advanced Riffs and Runs Vocal Workout for female singers. The 5 singing exercises in this vocal routine follow on from my popular Riffs and Runs Vocal Workout. Each exercise is played and demonstrated at a slow tempo, followed by faster tempos to fine tune your skills. The exercises will improve your pitch accuracy and rhythmic control.

I will try to do this for 20 days Day 1 ✅ Day 2 ✅ Day 3 ✅ ✨I was traveling and lost internet for a bit, but I’m back!✨ Day 4 ✅ Day 5 ✅ 4/7/23 Day 6 ✅ Day 7 ✅ Day 8 ✅ Day 9 ✅ Day 10 ✅ I’m missing a lot less notes!😊 Day 11 ✅ When I relax my throat I can move from note to note faster. Day 12 ✅ Day 13 ✅ Day 14 ✅ Day 15 ✅ Day 16 ✅ Day 17 ✅ Day 18 ✅ I think that’s the best I’ve ever done it! Day 19 ✅ Day 20 ✅ Now that I’ve completed 20 days, I am going to do 10 days on 1.25x speed Day 1 ✅ Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6 Day 7 Day 8 Day 9 Day 10

I feel an improvement already after doing these exercises! Exercises 4 and 5 are challenging but also so much fun. Your vocal exercises are fantastic.

I saw some comments talking about 4 and 5 were the hardest. but for me 5 was pretty easy, even tho it went fast... 3 and 4 got me though! can't wait to keep working on these!

Is it okay to be a little bit nasal on vowels when you are in mixed or head voice?

Yes, it's ok and even necessary
i am not sure if you are going to see this or not but is it okay if i use head voice for the 3 and 4th exercise? the last few notes are very high for me.
note to self: only first two exercises

Block your nose and see if your tone changes. That’s a good way to test for excessive nasality. A bit of nasality is fine though and helps higher notes.
Thanks so much! Question please: Is it wrong to add a consonant to help me get it better (like changing aaaaaaaah to hahahaha or dadadada)

absolutely not! adding a consonant is a great way to work your diaphragm while getting to the runs!
