question guys. MInute 3.40, Barca vs Real. You said they turned into a zone defense. I was wondering why? what did you see that made you think that that one was a zone difense and not just a man to man defense. They guarded the cuts man to man. yes on the drive there was a strong help from the ball side, ok. Is this a good reason to define a zone defense? Just asking guys. I love your job.

Thanks Matteo! Yes it's a good question. Barca does a great job of giving great help in late clock situations at the blocks and elbows, which has a "Zone Look". In the clip you pointed out the defender does go with the cutter, so the case can be made for them still being in man to man. That section of the video is to show how teams like Barca will "load up" and give tremendous help against a mismatch in late clock situations. Thanks for the great question and you could in fact be correct about that clip!
