Thanks for this one Will. "Off the didg" exercises are awesome stuff and the breathing part really tricky. Big LIKE.

im an aussie musician and i cant believe i just learnt something i didnt know about didge (from an american). lol. thanks mate cheers

5:09 Was that a conscious quoting of "Glide" by Pleasure? Nice.
vientos carnal, mil gracias!!!
Don't press so hard with your hand that the lips become totally inhibited, find a happy medium of pressure before pushing harder.
It will definitely be another tool for you:)
Amazing. If I practice this from the side of my mouth will I gain results or is it a lost cause? I've never been able to play from the center of my mouth but have to use the side. Also, I have a problem with drool. I think it's more me being self conscious but I can never get more than about 2 minutes of constant play before I become a waterfall and have to stop, swallow, and wipe my mouth and beard off. Also, I imagine the spit isn't that great for my didge...
fascinating. Now I want to actually hear you play the instrument. This Bubble lips breathing is what we do in our acapella chorus to warm up our vocal chords.. Unfortunately, I am not very good at it. I have to hold my fingers on both sides of my lips to get the vibration going. Is that a matter of lip strength or pressure? Or just shape of the mouth. Mind is kind of small.

hahah
At the most basic level here, the moment I put mouth to finger loop or mouthpiece, it becomes all airy. I can't seem to keep the lip flapping. Is this a strength issue, or that the shape of my mouth/lips/upper lip/etc. just won't work on this instrument?
Is it necessary to be able to get this? I have a crooked smile so when i smile to tighten the lips the vibration actually stops.
thanks
will this help me with my beatboxing'
he could lip practice with me ANY DAY

I love you
I used to make all these stupid sounds as a kid, who knew they would come in handy when playing an instrument.
