I really love your conversations Vanessa because I think you're voice is pretty charming as well as your face, and that's why I can understand you better than ever. Your English lessons are super enjoyable as always and this kind of conversation is quite helpful to me, your husband is a very conversational person as I can see, and you're talkative as well Vanessa. I always have fun to the fullest whenever I learn English with Vanessa. And I would have loved to study at a college and get a master's degree in the US 🇺🇸 but that opportunity would have been unlikely to happen and I don't really care if the country does not have a very good or compelling education system. After all, thank you so much for being a kind, joyful and professional English teacher, Vanessa. ❤😊

This is incredible, I have learnt so many things since I started with you 2 weeks ago! you guys are great! Here in France you choose to go either to public school or private school, but it is not as expensive as in the US. The system is quite similar to yours. Then when you are 16, you decide if you want to go to general high school (lycée général in French) or professional high school (more manual, and especially you go there when you don't feel at ease in a general way of education. For example you go there when you want to work in the masonry, so you are pushed in the work life very early). Then when you are graduated at 18 ("Baccalauréat" diploma), if you are graduated from general high school, it is very common to continue to study (in a specific branch you decided to go to, you have more or less internships depending on what you chose) because nowadays employers are tight on your degree. Besides, I think that's the only way to get a job. What you told about your employee, Vanessa, does not exist in France or it is very unusual. That's why we both want to leave France with my husband. I think no one is ever satisfied LOL.

Though the possiblity of having a gap year seems pretty progressive, you will be firmly reminded of your duties after it. :) Thank you so much for your great job here on YT.

Both my daughters went to university for 3 years. It's free in France apart from the cost of rent (really expensive). They graduated in English and in the first place it might have seen like useless. They both had to go through a rough path of poorly paid jobs in different fields but with time they managed to build a career and are executives in fields they weren't trained for. Now we think that their years of university taught them how to research, reflect and elaborate. Plus their fluency in English is a real advantage with their foreign customers and colleagues. So it ended up being a good thing but it wouldn't have been the same in the US, they would have been unable to repay their debts.

Hi Vanessa! Thanks! It was very refreshing to hear your thoughts about education in the US! Having an internship or a gap year is not unusual in Finland. Tuition itself in Finland is provided by tax revenues but in adult education you have to buy learning material (books, stationery, etc.) yourself, tuition is provided by taxation. However, many young adult students have to work part-time and/or take a student loan as student grants are too low. As I see it, it's not necessary to get a university degree. It's more about what kind of job interests you. If you are skilled in craftsmanship and you like that, it's all right to go to vocational school and complete a plumber's or electrician's education. They are both well-paid jobs. As they say "different strokes for different folks".

In India internship are compulsory for medical and engineering. Medical student in India must to complete medical internship after having their MBBS degree and for engineers after having their degree they get internship for 1 year (My husband did same). In India before 10 year it was not compulsory to complete the degree expect doctor and engineers but nowadays all professional field make the degree compulsory. If you do not have a degree then most companies will offered clerk level jobs. If you want to grow ourself, degree is compulsory.( few exception are their) and now we are going to experience about USA high school education system. My son, he got admission in public high school (USA) for 10th grade, he is good in all subject so teacher suggested him to attend AP (Advance placement) classes rather than regular class, after he will passed all AP exam the school will send him in university for his further study and the school will pay for it as scholarship but yes university education is really expensive in USA.

Hi! In Colombia the public schools are free, the government pays for that, not every single school has a good education quality, you can find a lot of students in the classrooms, probably between 30 or 40 students per classroom. I think this is the greater problem because one teacher can’t control all of them and one teacher can’t know if every single student understood the issue. The students that want to do the difference it’s because they are curious or doing something of their own volition. Some private school offers a personalized education, because they have few students but the most of them are so expensive. We have more private school and I think this is a business is going on the rise every year.

Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

Howdy ! I have a question . What is the meaning of weak in the knees in this sentence? What is it about the Pumpkin Spice Latte that makes us weak in the knees? The drink has nothing to do with weak in the knees.
