Advanced Disposal: Awesome Sounding Mack MR McNeilus Rear Load Garbage Truck

Here is an absolutely amazing sounding 2007 Mack MR McNeilus rear loader outfitted with an amazing Barker products cart tipper collecting residential garbage. Me and Will( Willthetrashman) set to find this truck two weeks in a row, the first week it sounded good, like most MR’s do. However something happened between the first week we saw it and the next. The second week we found it, it had an amazingly deep growl. I’m not entirely sure why, but I believe it to be an exhaust leak.
I really love these trucks, they bring new meaning to efficient residential rear load collection. The helper told me he has over 1700 stops one day and the rest if the week it is around 1500 stops. Yet they still manage to finish fairly early. He also told me that this truck could easily pack 20 tons.
Unfortunately, when this was filmed(In July sometime) the helper told me that he would be getting a new truck within the next few weeks. So unfortunately this truck is either no more or running as a spare.

Just never gets old. You simply can’t find very many trucks these days that sound anything like these (thanks to that CNG hocus pocus) so great job my friend! Always enjoy these!

This is how a carted unlimited route should be run, the run just as fast if not faster than a automated truck and you get both sides of the street done at once. In my city waste management runs mack le mcneilus rear loaders (for yardwaste)they sound just like this if not louder there so loud your damn house will vibrate when there in front of it. Great video!

I would think rear loaders are a lot cheaper to buy and maintain than ASL trucks. However, they require twice as many people to operate. As shown in this video, a good rear loader crew can be just as fast if not faster than fully automated collection.

Talk about a mean roar! This is probably one of the meanest sounding Macks I've heard in a long time! Is this an MR688S or MR613 (if there ever was one)? Mack E7 engine, right? Sounds like they took the catalytic converter off. That sucks this crew will be getting a new truck. Why can't they just take off that emissions crap and straight pipe it? Who needs a muffler? Let 'em know you're coming and it's garbage day today! Love how you got all those far away shots, and that acceleration up that hill at the end - that was just absolutely sick! And much faster than an ASL, that's for sure! That's how trash should be collected everywhere! Any other growling Macks on the way?

GarbageSean Oh yea, it sounds great! This as a MR688s. Yep E7/ASET engine (same thing). Diesel’s actually don’t catalytic converters, but new (2008-present) diesels have DPFs, but I agree it sounds like something was altered. I wish they would straight pipe them all, they would sound and tun better. I knew you would enjoy those long driving shots 😉! I certainly agree about how trash should picked up. Yep, I have several more Mack videos on the way within the next few months! Thank you!
