The central Corn Belt perspective will provide those in that region tips on the following: (1) Species selection based on goals and resource concerns of the central Corn Belt cover cropper; (2) Species selection, seeding, and terminating tips based on Midwest weather, soil, and conditions; (3) Resources and rules specifc to central Corn Belt states.

One of the best presentations I’ve seen. I’ve been full organic for 20 yrs, but I’ll be the 1st to tell you, it’s not the answer to all the world’s problems. As a matter of fact, very VERY light use of synthetic N and pesticides in my opinion, is better for the environment. You take away that organic drag on yield, that’s more production / product per acre, less diesel used. The thing is, you need to figure out how to narrow that conventional to organic gap, THEN dial in you use of inputs. You can work it backwards by dialing them down as you bring in better management practices s also.. I’ll guarantee you he is raising crops that perform very well with the animals who consume them. Both animal and human. He should receive a premium for it. That’s why I’ve stayed organic even though I realize it’s about 80% BS. I set the price, not the board of trade.

Please can you have the camera focused on the slides the speaker is showing rather than the speaker. Thanks

Very good video. Very good speaker and excellent information. I'd like to ask the camera person to spend more time focused on the projection screen and less time on the speaker. I would have liked more time to study the information on the projection screen. I realize, I can watch the video again to review the information. However, there is little reason to show us the speaker. I can hear the speaker no matter where the camera is pointed. I can't see the information if you are not focused on it.
