Carlos Gonzalez she used her whistle register in imagine. she said in a interview with zach sang that in sweetener she’s focusing more on her lyrics and showcasing her lower register, which she didn’t get to do earlier in her career. i assume that’s what she’s doing in this album as well.

We love the music police! This is the only album by Ariana Grande that I listened to from the first track to the last track and loved each one individually. You don't have to like Ariana to appreciate her pouring out her heart and soul for the world to fall witness to. MY GIRL DID THAT... WHAT DID SHE DO? THATT!!!
