@@idab6864 I can kinda relate to this, maybe I can explain. I've been learning French at school since 5 years now and I know that I've learned a lot and that I can speak and understand it pretty well. But it's still a surprise when I realize that I have a general knowledge in French and that someone can randomly start speaking French and I understand. I think it's because the French we leran in school always focuses on certain topics and sometimes misses out on everyday life knowledge. That's why I'm surprised that I can understand real French like everyday life French yk. Hope it makes sense, I'm not a native English speaker so please excuse my mistakes. :))
We all aspire to have a similar life to Leah’s in the future

Its a really quick recipe and its so deli and refreshing !!! i hope u try it :^)

please keep making these! it is so helpful for a French beginner to hear from a non-native speaker bc I feel like native speakers speak a little too fast for me at times!
cookie recipe from my great grandmother:) 2 cups of sugar , 1 cup butter , 2tsp baking powder , 1tsp baking soda , 3 eggs , 1tsp vanilla , 1 1/2 tsp nutmeg , 1/2 tsp salt , 1/2 cup sweet condensed milk , 4 1/2 to 5 cups flour cream butter & add sugar, mix, then add eggs & vanilla & mix well, add rest of dry ingredients & mix again. turn over the dough & chill overnight in fridge. scoop baseball size balls of dough & roll out on floured surface, cut out shapes with cookie cutters. bake on greased cookie sheet 350-375f, take out, let cool & then frost! I've never made this vegan so I'd love to see you guys try! love you Leah!

two of my fav recipes: 1) korean spicy cucumber salad/oi-muchim ingredients: 1 cucumber, 1/2 tbsp red pepper powder (gochugaru), 1 tbsp red pepper paste (gochujang), 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp white vinegar, 1/2 tbsp sesame oil steps: cut cucumber into bite sized pieces -> make sauce using ingredients -> mix well -> enjoy! refrigerate for 1-2 hours before eating, or overnight 😊 2) my mom's chicken adobo ingredients (without measurements as is the filipino way): chicken thighs, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, peppercorn, garlic, dried bay leaves steps: combine chicken, soy sauce, and crushed peeled garlic -> marinate for 1 hour to overnight -> heat pot with veg oil -> pan fry marinated chicken on both sides til cooked -> pour in remaining marinade including garlic -> add water -> bring to a boil -> add dried bay leaves and whole peppercorns -> simmer for 30-45 minutes or until chicken is tender -> add vinegar and a bit of sugar and salt -> stir and cook for 5-10 more mins -> turn off the heat and enjoy! sorry this is a long comment, hope you get to try these recipes 🥰
