The DMV thing totally happened to me a couple weeks ago. No worst feeling than setting an appointment months in advance and waiting hours past your appointment time and have to go back and make another appointment because one piece of paper slipped somewhere between your house and the DMV.

How to avoid the long waiting at dmv 1) if possible, drive to one in a small town. In small towns I’ve been in and out in 10 minutes multiple times. It’s a beautiful thing! 2) make an appointment and don’t be early or late but just on time 3) know why you’re there and what you need before stepping foot in the building and have everything ready

Every time the screen went gray I died laughing but cried at the same time

*True Story* On my W-4 for taxes, I memorized with-holdings/allowances backwards, and I ended up owing a 2-3thousand dollars when I did my taxes my first year at a new job. That was a joy seeing all of my refund disappear and turn red on Turbo-Tax. 😲😑😭

"I just ate a whole bag of takis.... it's only about 1400 calories... Why did I do that?!" **whimpers** That's precisely why I always make it a point to look at the nutrition facts and watch my serving sizes. I get the struggle, though. Lol

There was a time when I was eating a lot of chips and salsa, where I would look at the numbers on the bag and the jar to figure out just how bad it would be if I accidentally ate them all at once, and I would buy brands in part based on the answer to that question.

The parking ticket got me. I started back at junior college a few years ago when I was forty and I parked in the wrong place on the street and got a parking ticket. $124 later and many tears, I learned to not park there. Plus, I had a parking tag but there were no spots to park at. Now I am at TAMU and just paid over $300 to park in a lot that is probably 20-30 minutes walk time to my one on campus class. More tears.
