Hi Lucy. Oh you handled your splat rather well. I probably would have cursed badly. I’m glad you kept it in the video. Shows that life is real. For your little stars you need a handy tool called Quick Stik The Quicker-Pocker-Picker-Upper. Great for picking up tiny embelishments and placing them where you want them. It is by Lifestyle Crafts.

Lol! Been there, done that. Only difference it was with a bottle of tomato sauce and I happened to squeeze it while I was looking down at the bottle. It exploded. I had it in my hair, in my face and all down the front.

Hi Lucy , look for a Gem pick up stick . It is a stick with low tac stick rubber or not sure what it made of. You can pick up your stars one by one and place in quickie glue . No fingers ! 😀

I know there are a lot of people that loveeeee audio books and with your voice....I’m telling you, you would gain subscribers by the hundreds!

Loved your haul. Put John O'Brien's book in my cart. I don't have an Advent calendar to color in the color along, but I'll find something in Johanna's book and some of the others for each day. I don't want to miss out on this.

My favourite by far is John O'-Brian's illustrations for the poem: "Twas the night before Christmas." This is the kind of colouring booksI want to find, in this sketchy detailed style bjt have not much luck. Ruth Sanderson is a close 2nd but I prefer the medium or lighter greyscale. The dark is harder.

Derwent 72 set of pastel pencils, Luna coloring book, lots of wonderful pdfs that you got me started on with Etsy and a couple of the Color Heaven Coloring Magazines. Pastel pencils! great investment. I have heard that supplies are expensive in Canada. You will love Luna. I have ruined mine by spilling black acrylic paint on it this week. I should never be allowed to use and mediums that are wet! 🤗💖

@@lucyjustaddscolour-adultco3135 In fact Ruth has a tutorial video where she colors the exact grayscale Santa image that you pointed out in your book haul. I love that one.

FYI with the quickly glue - its at its most tackiness when it goes clear - I have used it with nail foil sheets as embellishments. There are a few more tacky when dry glue mediums but have not tested them with glitter.

I had to laugh at the red blast! I did that same thing with my first Wink of Stella. It blew up all over my coloring page. The sparkliest beetle in the world! I love the teeny stars and you got the same heat gun as I have. Love mine! I’ve had it two years now and it really is handy to have. Love your calendar idea. There is an Aesop’s Fables book illustrated by Charles Santore. Those are beautiful books 😄 The Night Before Christmas is so fabulous!

I used to think stickles were expensive, until I tried cheap glitter glue... and then I realised why. They’re a different league P.S. just applied to join your Facebook group. I’m a member of another colouring group but they’re in America

Lucy, you don't know your own strength! I get blockages with my Dovecraft glitter all the time, so I just attack the nozzle with a needle first. Thank goodness that didn't happen to you on a nearly completed page! I bought a glue pen for using with foils. The trick with that is allow the glue to dry before laying the foil sheet over the top and firmly rubbing over the back of the plastic! I think the best book you showed was "The Night Before Christmas." I'm very tempted! In the meantime, I hope you are healing well after your operation.

Just a slightly mad creative thought could you use a dp pen with wax in to lift your iridescent stars and place them onto the areas where you placed adhesive then wipe off any Wax residue post drying. Another great video ❤️
