Aemond is defo going to be one of the stars of s2. And Ewan Mitchell to make such an impact in a handful of scenes...a big career beckons. Many have already said he would make a great Joker, but with that chin and noise he's a possible Sherlock Holmes too.

Should be interesting to see how he handles the aftermath of killing his nephew. It's unfortunate that we eventually lose so many great characters to the war. Hopefully they don't rush through the war in a season or two.

Aemond is going to be so important for team green in season two! Aegon would never be able to fight Raenyra and all her dragons without Aemond as his army commander

Watching the bloopers of that scene (Ser Criston Cole with the brothel madam / his old acting teacher) is super fun because Ser Criston Cole keeps giggling and touching her hair like a little kid. It's hard to imagine it in your mind, but I'm serious. Those specific bloopers are really quite adorable to watch.

​@@gennaronarducci1333 I think she was very inexperienced when dhe had Aegon at just 15 years old. Aemond is her 3rd child and I think she had him at 18. So she could parent him better. With Aegon it might have been a downward spiral. She was young and inexperienced, parenting wasn't so good, Aegon acts out, she becomes more strict, he acts out more, she punishes him, he turns to alcohol. In I think episode 3 we also see Viserys giving a 2 year old Aegon wine to drink in the carriage. Which also probably contributed to his addiction. Being given wine from toddler age.

If you enjoy viking shows and Ewan Mitchell, I recommend The Last Kingdom.

It's a nice detail that after some of the citizens might have heard Aegon saying he has no wish to rule, the rumors might have spread in King's Landing. And if you notice, the people first don't clap after Lord Hightower announces him as King, they only start after Ser Criston says "Aegon the king". It's a really nice detail.

Aemond is the most badass in HOTD. But Daemon is charismatic.

He is definitely a cool character. I can't wait for season 2. It's a shame how he's going to die. Hey does anyone else think he kind of looks like Legolas from Lord of the Rings at a certain angle.

I wonder if any of the living Targaryens during HotD is immune to fire.

Spoiler Alert: eventually Daemon will kill him putting a sword in his last good eye. i think that's a very poetic end for Aemond and i cant wait to see it in the serie
