GEN III ECWCS: THE NEXT GENERATION EXTENDED COLD WEATHER CLOTHING SYSTEM FOR THE WARFIGHTER
Based on layering systems currently utilized by mountaineering professionals and designed by the U.S. Army, GEN III ECWCS changes the way the American Soldier can fight. Technically advanced proprietary materials and textile construction combine with advanced garment design to allow the soldier to comfortably operate and sustain combat operations in extreme conditions, extending the ability to take the fight to the enemy.
Only the official GEN III ECWCS authorized for U.S. Army issue features:

GEN III ECWCS features seven new levels of insulation to provide a broad level of environmental protection that extends from - 40°F to 60°F. Each piece fits and functions either alone, or when used in the system, to provide the most options and highest possible performance for the warfighter.

I like the current PT uniform system and this system. Easy to use it to your own level for your enviornment.
I own a lot of it and it’s did very well I have recommended it to my friends and they have purchased some themselves I wish I had a level seven vest or parka I have the bottoms but just can’t afford the tops in size xl but I would buy one or both if I could afford them lol thanks for your product it’s the best out there guys !!

So level 3 and 4 no trousers?

That's right. Basically you'd either continue wearing your uniform pants with level 1 or level 2 base layers, or move up to level 5 and 6 pants if you need water resistant layers. the level 3 and 4 jackets are basically extra layers you put on and take off in order to help thermo regulate based on weather conditions and activity levels while wearing your normal uniform.

So the real question is, are the lvl 4 wind breaker worn over or under the OCP top. Or is it a substitute of the OCP
