Adriatique is an electronic music producer and DJ duo from Zürich, Switzerland formed in 2008 by Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer. Over the course of a decade, they have delivered atmospheric blend of melodic house and techno on record labels such as Diynamic and Afterlife before founding their own in 2016, Siamese.

Hatshepsut is a mortuary temple also known as the ‘Holy of Holies’ in Egypt, and located near Luxor. Being around 3,500 years old, its architecture almost looks contemporary, with its symmetry contrasting with the rocky cliffs that overhang it.

First heard you guys at Diynamic Festival 2013 or 2014. My mind was blown that day and I've been a massive fan since that day. Thank you for your music, it has brightened happy days dancing with friends and made difficult days while battling multiple hardships bearable. Please know that your music is so important to so many people and you guys have touched and continue to touch us down to our souls. Thank you! ❤
People.. Im not gonna lie. The location and whole experience was so intense, that while I was there, I didnt even understand what was happening. I entered a trip, and exited it. SOBER!!!!! Now listening to this… wtf? First 4 songs alone, I am literally flying my whole afternoon shift on this set already!! 🔥🔥 This is why Adriatique NEVER dissapoints!! I will see you cercle people in Sevillia in 1month and Adriatique in Barcelona for 5hrs set in June! Enjoy this beauty-lifetime experience🙌❤️

Yeah, this is kinda fire. I am unfamiliar with the artists, yet this is a symphony of 1000's of years of aesthetics and sound. The dark rave sound is great. I love the modern form of how it interacts with melodic techno and a dozen other genres. Never underestimate a dj(or 2) + a sample library, and with composition added somehow. And then the audio is well recorded, the drone footage is awesome, the crowd is usually chillin and...yeah. what else can I say. Rest in Peace I_O. The sound you found, stole, remixed and played beautifully lives on in others.
April 2024 this still hit hard. You are the best

Easily the best set in the world
Im 36 years old and i did almost every festival in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, but these two are making history. Unfortunately i didn't have the chance to see them, but in my dad space at home with my headphones, I'm enjoying goosebumps all the way through. What a masterpiece of art this is. Thank you Cercle for making these incredible live sets possible and give a piece of art for ourselves at home in our living room. The longer i hear this, i even get tears of pure joy in my eyes. Look where they are doing their concerts... You can't rent this kind of place easly, it must take a lot a time, negociation and a huge organisation do it as fast as possible : they can't lock it for 1day full, not more few hours i would say

I immediately thought of the Egyptian pharaoh 3500 years ago, climbing the steps in a temple built especially for her. Then came the music and these crazy drone flights that show surreal perspectives. It gave me the creeps. The music fits the location perfectly. The combination of artist, location and the whole production are unique and make Cercle for me a standard against which others have to measure themselves.
Ive been in Egypt, all i can say is a magic feeling, speacially in this temple you feel a strange energy, cant imagine mixed with this music omg

dark melodic techno sounds SOOOO GOOOOD
Standing 5 feet away from Adriatique in front of the temple of Hatshepsut during nightfall was the most insane experience of my life so far. Also, Misty, the warming up DJ put on a hell of a show as well, and the after on a small island in the nile made this day a historic one!

Another insane set by Adriatique 🥰! Tracks of the sets for me: 38:06 with the drop at 41:59, then 55:00, with the drop at 59:35, then 1:15:37 (those vocals ...), and obviously the banger "Home" at 1:38:43, with the drop at 1:42:27 ! (the rest of the set being giga good too). Thank you Cercle.

Imagine this sound reverberating at the same place some 2.5k years back. I am imagining the look on Hatshepsut's face the first time she hears this set.
Having just returned from Egypt (El-Sheikh) and seeing the crappy effects of Covid to Egypt's economy (tourism, hotels, iconic sites etc), I'm so grateful for Cercle! You brought music. You brought commerce. You brought connection. You brought hope to a people that had none. Bravo Cercle!
I still can’t believe I got to experience this in person. The history of the temple combined with this slick music and lights teleported me into another world 🚀 Can’t thank you guys enough, Cercle and Adriatique 🙏

Maybe the best visual design I've seen yet. I'm not sure the ancient egyptians had this in mind when it was built but i sure hope they would have their minds blown. epic work cercle!
Love not only the location but how they timed it out. To start about an hour before sunset and finish when it's dark. Loved seeing the transition at the Temple. Awesome show for sure!

Being at my favorite temple in Egypt is already enough to be awe-inspired; adding this experience, the music, the light production, and the atmosphere made being there at this set the greatest musical experience of my life. 🙏

When the Egyptians spoke about building temples that are eternal, I wonder if they ever thought in 1000s of years later, Hatshepsut would still be a place of gathering and worship! :) Amazing.

I think it was probably more like their version of NFT's mixed with legacy and mixed with slave control. I want to control 100,000 people and make them build me a temple, I decided.

The third month of listening and watching this... let me just say that I am jealous of all the people that were there attending this live. What an incredible location, the set and energy of this duo is out of this world. I am pretty sure I would have fainted with a burst of excitement if I attended this too. Maybe that's why I wasn't there XD

AMAZING... as usual! It's sad though to see so many cell phones out instead of just capturing the moment in your heart and soul. The 2 ladies in the front row at 25:16, just hugging each other, enjoying the experience, that's beautiful. Alas, one day I hope to have the ability to attend a Cercle event!

When the lightshow involving the temple started I was saying to myself: damit it! How much foresight did the architects had at the time when the temple was build to make it fit to that lightshow? Okay, nevermind. Awesome set!
