There are a few good preachers still out there! They are becoming more scarce as the organized church turns ever worldly because we no longer are obedient to Christ and His command to: " make disciples of all nations " ( Matthew 28:18-20 )

( Ephesians 4:11-13 ) to equip the saints for the work of service. His command, as well as mine and yours, is still this, " make disciples of all nations ". ( Matthew 28:18-20 ) Repeat in everyone that God gives you ( John 17:4-6 ), the exact same demonstrated method that Christ Himself gave us in the gospel narratives of making His own disciples! This will answer the prayer to the Lord of the Harvest, to raise up workers for the fields ripe unto harvest. ( Matthew 9:37-38 ) Putting feet into ministry not just butts in pews!

I understand how you feel. I used to judge Joel also. For many years his style of the gift given to him to share God's word made me uncomfortable. He's unique, just like Adrian Rodgers is unique. Both have a purpose to reach lost souls. Just like there are many denominations and many different pastors. Some churches are hip and loud and some are laid back and mellow. Jesus said to worship in spirit and truth. Joel's ministry is to reach those who are beaten down by religion and religious people. Joel is special. Thousands are saved and baptized in his church every year. Lakewood Church, Joel's church has helped thousands of people find hope and salvation. Not just by Joel's way of speaking but by the congregation he serves, that truly loves people like Jesus said to do. Amen ✝️ Jesus said don't be someone who scatters but be one who gathers. I don't agree with everything Joel says, I don't agree with everything Adrian says either. I pray for Joel, I pray for all pastors. Pray for one another. The world will know us by our love for one another. Not our condemning one another. I listen to Joel regularly, especially when I need a jolt of the Holy Spirit. But I listen to many pastors! I believe each pastor has a gift to bless us with. Thank God the Father that Jesus has defeated the power of sin. Ephesians speaks how the holy spirit has broken the power of division, and has brought us together because of what Jesus did on the cross by his blood atonement. Praise you heavenly Father for the Lord Jesus Christ 🕊️✝️📖🙏

Jesus Christ is the only perfect person. I'm so thankful we don't have to be perfect or measure up to other believers. No one nor any pastor is perfect. They aren't supposed to be. Jesus makes us worthy, his presence inside us makes us whole, not our behavior. We will always make mistakes and fail at times, glory to our Abba Father.. that Jesus took all God's wrath and judgment upon himself on the cross so we don't have to put other Christians under the microscope. ☺️🌾 Alleluia! I'm so glad that we are able to worship and listen to this great man continue to share the word of God even after he has gone on to heaven to be part of the kingdom. I was baptized by Dr. Rogers when I was a young boy. His wife was my Sunday school teacher and they were both beautiful and God loving people. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to know Dr. Rogers and to be a student of his teachings all my life. He preached the word of God like no one else in my lifetime.

One of the most precious gifts I posses today are 5 of my grandmother's Bibles she used to study from, in her lifetime. All of them have writing from her own hand in the margins and spaces available. Notes from her personal studies of the precious word of God and from pastors preaching and teaching of the truth that the word of God speaks! Secondly the Bible I use today for my own study ( 2 Timothy 2:15 ) was a gift from Dr. Adrian Rogers many years ago. He gave this gift of scripture truth to me after one of our sessions in Bible study we had together for over 3 years way back in the early 90's. As He gifted the precious word of God to me He said this to me: " The goal of obedience is never results, no, the goal of obedience to Christ is simply obedience! " His own paraphrase of John 14:15 - Christ speaking: " If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. "

Thank you,Pastor Rogers for your sound theology and sharing w/those who seek the truth,in spirit and truth that we might worship our God and be led by the Spirit into all truth as we follow our Lord and Saviour.. .God in Christ Jesus ✝️

Jeffrey, LWF is a ministry founded by Dr. Adrian Rogers. Dr. Rogers was lead Pastor at Belleview Baptist Church for many years until his passing. Steve Gaines is now the lead pastor of Bellevue. Not sure who heads up LWF ministries now! Yet, this ministry is still totally separate from Bellevue Baptist Church.

The thing is I do listen to Christ Jesus exclusively! You however are listening to Satan, to traditions of man, to deception and lie, to religion at best! When Christ gave Cephus his new name of Peter. Yes..... Peter means " Rock ". Yet, Catholics just seem to dismiss that Christ Himself was also known as " The Rock " the " Rock of Ages "!. Jesus wasn't saying that He was building His church or ekklesia - Greek word for Church or " Called Out Ones ", on Peter. He was proclaiming that His church would be built upon Himself! The only firm foundation! The Cornerstone! That church is not a building, an association, an institution or any organization.
