Fun fact: Here in Australia, the Adria Twin (right hand drive - same as UK) have the side sliding doors on the kerbside so as to comply with Australian safety regulations. Here, they come with A/C factory fitted - we don't need an extra skylight here. Lol!

hi i love the adria twin great vans , yes they’ve just started here with the doors on the kerbside with the shorter 6m adria but not the longer 6.36m one which is a bit strange , ha yeah no need for extra skylights for you guys , we are bout to plunged into darkness here and the temps are dropping , have a great summer !

Thank you for your review. I'm looking at retirement in a few years time and looking at my van options. This one looks excellent and high quality. I see this one doesn't have the optional aircon unit which replaces the sky light. Without the natural light overhead Andrew remarked his van felt dark at the rear as his had the aircon unit.

Thanks john Yes that would be my concern , although you’d still be getting light from the back doors and side windows , but light from above is really nice , there is always a compromise as I’m sure you are finding out during your searches , the perfect van ! That sun roof in the Adria doesn’t seem right but very light and airy. I wonder how warm that van would be in winter. The sliding door of a van conversion and rear barn doors seem to let out any heat you may have generated. Also panel van insulation is not nearly as good as coach built. I don’t think I will change to one in the near future. Just my opinion and others will disagree 😀 Trev.

I never thought about the heat loss trev , well said 👍 I was in awe with the open airy coach built feel in a PVC and didn’t think about that thanks for your opinion , all continental PVC’s are missing an oven and a microwave , we love both , so if we ever did downsize it would have to be British 😀 thanks for comment

Yeah very true although they do have hymer van conversions on a Mercedes that do a 4x4 but very very expensive
