Recently made the switch for my standard poodle and toy mix, and it’s been amazing for their temperaments and coats! For years they went to a large chain grooming salon without fear free practices and since making the switch my dogs are no longer afraid of going to the groomer, and their table manners are reportedly much better!

Like so many other maladies, in both pup and people, patience is maybe the number one tool to have. I really like the straight leg trim. This little guy ended up behaving very well after a bit!

Reminds me of my affectionate mini poodle. He really doesnt like his hair being dries. He;s lucky to have such a responsible groomer. Poodles are high anxiety.

That was a joy to watch. That little baby was not afraid at all and you made it enjoyable for him. I have just purchased a toy poodle after owning mini schnauzers. I hope I can learn to groom my poodle myself - or find someone that has the patience and skills you have ❤️🐾

I have a 17yr. Old black mini poodle. His name us Remy. Adopted him when he was 4 yrs. Old from a poodle rescue here in New Jersey. He is the best doggue, ever. He looks a lot like Bennett. Remy watched this video with me.😀🐩❤you are so good with him.

Such a cute puppy and you are brilliant with him 👍. My dog sadly had a nightmare experience with a groomer here in the UK. She's a poodle cross. Since then I've groomed her myself, but it's taken a long time for her to overcome her grooming anxieties.

hes so so good! mine is hyper everytime i try and groom even with cookies!!! and if i do his feet he bites me lol, im laughing now but its no joke mines also a toy poodle only 4 months old

I wish my dog's groomer was like this :( She is not bad, she is sweet,but my puppy is still too afraid of water and such and the only way that Im having some good results is using a loooot of positive reinforcement. I went from a puppy shaking and running out from the bathroom to a puppy that nows goes into the bath by herself (still doesn't like the water on her body,but at least she tolerates it under her feet!) Im really proud of me and my pup. But then she goes to the groomer and, even when the lady is really really sweet, she forces my pup into the bath without any treat 🥺 But its to difficult to find another sweet groomer 😭

I would like the name of eye cleanser😊

You won’t want to miss the 10 min mark on this video!! I have watched a lot of dog grooming videos like Melanie Newman, Transgroom TV - Kitty Talks, My Favorite Groomer, Rover’s Makeover, Go Groomer, and Man’s Best Friend - very nice guy. However, this was a pleasant surprise, that I loved. Enjoyed the history of the poodle too. I groom our 3yo 42 lb white newfypoo at home. My daughter does her 3yo black standard poodle. She is actually quite good. My dog is the good one in our duo. God only gives you what you can handle, cuz I wanted a large dog. Maizie is perfect for us though! She is the best frisbee player I know, and functions completely on play, not food. If I needed a groomer, I would want YOU!! Could I bring my dog in to get pointers from you and pay? Where are you located? 🤗

Whats your opinion on groomers holding puppy chin hair to do their face until the puppy eventually just "gives in"?

I am firmly against it. I try not to hold the chin hair.

I hate Teddy bear hair cut on poodles...yuk yuk..should have all face shaved
