Try warming part A of your resin before pouring. That helps. But it will also cure faster. But be careful when working with large batches of resin so it doesn’t solidify too quickly before you get it all poured.

You usually can't use fresh flowers or leaves. It's either dried or fake. If you use fresh flowers/leaves, the heat that's generated in the setting process will either discolor or rot the flowers/leaves. I've never tried it myself but I've seen videos here on YT of people who tried to use fresh flowers or leaves, all with the same result. It might work if you use a very shallow mould, to make earrings or a flat pendant or such. The deeper the mould the more heat it generates.

@@aisyahhaneemasmawi2354 it's a silicone spray that you spray into your mould before you pour the resin in. It helps when you have problems getting the set item out of the mould. It's usually used for moulds with a small opening like the ones to make spheres or eggs.

@@anita64 I just learned that after cleaning your molds that it’s a good idea to spray some silicone mold conditioner/release on them. Then store in plastic bags with as much air pressed out of them as possible. I’ve always just stored mine in clear plastic storage boxes after they’re cleaned and dried.

When pouring resin how do you make the exposed part of the mold not have that weird dull spot towards the middle? I always get it when I place things in facing me. (If this makes sense)

Do you mean after it has set? If you have a dull spot after the resin has set you can either sand it and then polish it or pour a thin layer of resin over it. That should solve it. If you see it when the resin is still liquid, it might be tiny air bubbles? You can get rid of those with a torch or candle lighter.

After it’s cured and removed from the mold, make sure it’s on a level surface and add a doming layer if you don’t want to have to sand.
