I just found your channel today and i subscribed. I love your style. I wanted to give some tips on the Elmer's glue crackle method. I have been doing it since 2016. Lol (I'm old) Anyhow, you definitely needed some more glue on there and it's best to use acrylic paint for the top layer. I have found that chalk or any other paint type on top doesn't work as well. Also, use a heat gun or hair dryer on the COLD setting to speed the crackle process up. Do not use heat. It needs to be cold air. Your crackle size will depend on how much glue you use. A solid thin layer will result in small crackles, a thicker layer of glue will give chunky crackles. The main thing to remember is to use an acrylic based paint for the top paint color. I have a video on my page showing the different styles. It's the one with the thumbnail of 3 white frames hinged together with a bird, a nest, and florals. I only have a couple videos so it shouldn't be hard to find. Have a great day and I look forward to watching more of your videos. 😊

I have used Elmers glue to crackle through the years and I wait until the glue is tacky before I apply the topcoat of paint and it has worked great for me I have a bottle of crackling that I’m gonna use to see how well it works. Cute project.❤
