@Robert Anderson I think I know the answer it's because some animals move there ears around so that they can sense if and where their predators/prey are and cats and dogs I think can do this to and even some humans because in the past we use to worry about predators but now it's a rare evolution trate that some people get that isn't necessary.You should look it up on google there are probably videos and articles that can explain it better than I did

@CDH the difference is that most extinctions in "nature" have take thousands of years, but the extinctions by humans have gone by in a matter of decades. Like your point makes no sence. You are basically saying that because there has been mass extinctions in the earth before us, makes nature worse for the species then us humans. Like ye.... But maybe take a look in how many years it took for the species to die out in nature compared to us. Example amerikan bison, got fked in a matter of centuries. The whale population in a matter of centuries etc etc.

neuralshock7 Actually, while regular hippos are very dangerous, Pigmy Hippos are nonviolent. They are much smaller and are herbivore. That's also the reason why they are an endangered species.
