If anyone had told me a writer would incorporate character names as you did here, for the media circus, and nobody would really notice, I would have laughed out loud and called them silly. Thanks for this story, truly enjoyed it. Eagerly waiting for the start of the next volume. This the 1st of your work I've read. It's so very well done, and you said it's not your primary style. Wish much more fiction and fantasy stayed on this side of the ethics, that sounds old and weird but it was such a clean and exciting read. Thank you again.

This has been an amazing story and I've enjoyed all of it so far. The only thing I'm curious about is the choice of Bailey as being a mirror image of a dog. It gives an interesting twist but doesn't seem totally necessary for such a close resemblance i.e mannerisms identical to a dog (PLEASE don't take this as a negative criticism of your work, as I said I'm REALLY enjoying the story and look forward to every new chapter). It is surprising this hasn't been addressed further than Bailey commenting once that the resemblance galled him but never any scene or comment of him encountering a Terran dog. >edit< I just saw your amazon link and that you have written more chapters. Love hearing the "audio book" version here but I am definitely buying the rest of the series.

This story is 46 chapters long. The whole book (almost 7 hours long) comes out in a few hours.

To the author..... WOW..... and....I am saddened that a mere average 5000 has partaken, it is truly a hidden gem, on par when Hugo and Nebula carried weight other than political. To the narrator....is there more in the pipeline? Book Two perhaps?

It's actually a subsidiary of the Barnum Cooperation. :) In short, Percival's granddaughter bought it. I didn't make it obvious, you had to know what Mark Twain looked like, and maybe know the way he spoke, but Percival Terrance Barnum was modeled off of Mark Twain and P.T. Barnum as a combination of the most amiable, charming, and clever man of his time, along with one of the greatest entertainers and cunning businessmen of his age. So essentially, Percival's granddaughter bought the place to make sure all the victims were compensated, but kind of kept a little distance there so it wouldn't be obvious.
