Sir agar dep trial balance mai hi de raha hai to vo accumulated mai phele se include hoga

Sir if provision for depreciation a/c is in trial balance then it only deduct from asset? And if it is in adjustment then deducted also and show in cr side p/l? Appreciate your underated hardwork🙏 pls reply

In my book there is two adjustment entries for provision for depreciation 1. Depreciation ac dr To provision for dep. 2. P&l ac dr To Depreciation ac Second wali entry kb karenge please tell me.

Second entry humesha krenge, Depreciation expense will be debited to Profit & loss A/c always.

Slm method mai dep+ provision +rate hota h aur wdm mai dep on cost - provision on dep and then dep rate cakculate karke total se minus kar do😅😅

Sir I can't understand difference between both methood dono may to balance sheet me asstes ki value kam kri hay

Ashish, first method me Asset ki value kam hoti h. For ex- 1,00,000 ki machinery h and dep is 20,000 so machinery ki value hi 80,000 hogyi but second method me machinery 100,000 ki hi h bt provision for depreciation me jayega 20,000 and wo aap presentation ke liye asset se less krke dikhate ho.

Hi Saurabh, Provision for depreciation is the total value of depreciation so agr aapne abhi current year ka depreciation account ni kiya h then usko bhi to provision for depreciation me add kroge na
