Looked at a number of videos to set up this sight, yours is by far the best. I especially like the idea of using the top pin as the floater.

Thank you Corey for this video, by far the best sight tape video I've seen for the Black Gold Slider sight on KZread! I can't wait to get back out on the range tonight and re-sight my Ascent!

Never thought about running my top pin as a floater before.... I just got my 3 pins slider so i may give that a whirl. I can see the benefits of it

Are you concerned that setting top pin as floater that at 80-100 yard distances your having to drop sight housing so low your arrow or fletching may hit housing. Can be really dangerous no???

Ok so I went through the tedious task of sighting in from 30-60 today, with 20 being my top out stop on the dial as you have it. Now I went to match up tapes and I cannot find one that matches. I have 4 marks for each of the distances. The closest I came was when 20 and 60 matched but others did not. So being I had an hha and they use the 20 60 method I said yea maybe my other marks are off a bit. Well went to 40 yards, everything was low so I moved down to the 45 hash and everything was hitting good. Now I'm stuck and dunno what to do. Restart the entire process or pick through the tapes more and see what else i can come up with?

Where do you set you pin height too. Mine are about center, all sighted in but I can't run past 80 yrds without hitting flecthing runnin a 2018 TRIAX with 60 lb limbs and 27" draw length

since you set your top pin as the adjustable pin do you have any trouble with the arrow hitting the site when your shooting at hundred yards?

Which would give you more clearance for distance top pin of bottom pin on a 3 pin

Bottom for sure. You're not going to be able to shoot as far with a top pin floater
