Adjusting a Battery Charger to the Correct Voltage

DANGER: Attempt at your own risk. You are working with high voltage.
Please take necessary precautions to avoid shock and damage to your charger.
My friend Brian was complaining the charger he got with his Sherman-S wasn't charging his wheel fully to 100.8V... So we did some investigative work and decided to dive in and see what I could do.

Solid video, Trung. I'm digging the educational videos man. Keep em coming!
Great video and great reminder to stay safe if doing this you don't usually get a second chance send it to Trung for repair 🤣🤣🙏
Hello Mr. SquallHeart!! can you please let me know if you know the answers to my questions... 1. adjusting the voltage output pot to accommodate an extra 12v20ah cell to my present 60v20ah lead acid battery bank? 2. how do i determine the voltage increase i need to safely charge by new 72v20ah bank? Do i just calculate the normal full charge voltage of 1 cell x the amount of cells? Example 12.8v( full charged) x 6 cells= 76.8v Now would that be correct? or do i just assume an even 12v x 6cells = 72 ?? i would think the former but i want to be sure!! 4. do i need to also adjust the amperage pots? its 3amps 240w as per label on the charger! Anyway...if you have a working knowledge of these mods i would truly appreciate your input!!! sincerely , TK.
At 24S, 0.3V is only a difference of 0.01V/cell, not worth adjusting that ... also, good job using an accurate Fluke! Most cheap DMMs have horrid specs.
Plastic handles on those trimming tools I think. Unless you are very confident on the circuit (I don't think so) :-)

slightly.. LOL.. got zapped around 2:10 because my hand just brushed up against one of the capacitors.. whoops! otherwise was careful not to touch anything else after that! LOL
