I've seen something similar before. But this is the first I've seen someone show how to make it and not be to complicated. 🤴
This the most simple, well designed router sled that I have seen. The simplicity is in the design. Well done. Of course everyone can improve upon your design for their specific needs. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. You have inspired me to make my own.

@@mr.vereshchak Thank you for this video bro, what are the dimensions please?
I love this idea it has been in my mined for the last week to build a table with adjustable sides just for this type of work great job.
Cheers mate, this video has given me an idea for a problem I’m having in my workshop. Much appreciated.
Thanks for taking all that time to show us how to build a beautiful sled, I know it was many hours to make, edit videos,ect. But the great reward is when your old and gray you can show the Grand kids all the things you’ve made 🙋🏻♂️
Another BIG like and more congratulations on a great video and clever idea from Australia
To get them level, cross string lines from corner to corner and when they touch in the centre they will be equal height. Good job yeah. 👍👍👍
@roberttill3787
To level with cross strings you need to lift the top one by the thickness of the string, or you will get a false level as the bottom string bends the top string by its thickness.

Use a transit level
@ianmib

I could be wrong but if his table top is flat enough and no twist, he should be able to ensure all four rail corners are set at the same height. I would check with the string method to confirm before assuming this however.
@MrT-dn5hm
Thats a terrible method, no offense. He is using levels as side rails on his sled. He simply levels one side and then uses a level going across the table on one end, then the next. Badaboom....level. Why bother using string when he has levels as sides it's a waster....also two opposing corners could be level with each other and the other opposing corners could have one high and the other low and guess what....the strings will touch. Strings can be handy in masonry or forming for concrete pours etc but not for this.
Dude! This is the perfect router sled application for my shop! Thank you!

This is absolutely perfect and does exactly what the description shows! it's well made and edited and great content, who could've possibly dislike it, they're not right on the head. Thanks for this video, great as always man.

I enjoyed the video as well but man, that was a lot of commercials for a 17 minute video. That could have contributed to the dislikes.

This is a great idea. With the adjustable fencing, you don't need to risk extending the bit too far beyond the safe operation that is required. Less risk of the bit flying out of the router or breaking the shaft. Not over engineered with expensive slides and rails either. Mostly stuff around the shop already.
This guy is an excellent craftsman and I watch and learn from all of his videos.

One of the best router jig systems i have so far seen, but i would not be blowing all that dust around my workshop with a blower!

Yes, brilliant. Builder's straight edge. I was thinking of using recovered melamine, but at about 10 quid each, the straight edge makes much more sense. I am just about to build a workbench, and I shall incorporate this. Thank you, and good thinking!

Great table! I really like the adj. sides thank you for sharing.
Eine gute Idee, voll Genial das ganze.
This is completely awesome!
