Twp of the major mistakes in this movie are: 1.Rama and Lakshmana never saw Ravana kidnapping Sita. Jatayu was the only one who saw it and tried saving sita. He lost his wing as a result of a fight between him and Ravana. Later, in the process of searching for sita, Rama and Lakshmana found the wounded Jatayu. Jatayu then informed them the direction and died because of his severe wound. 2. Ravana was actually a sincere devotee of Lord Shiva. He even tried building a palace made of gold for Lord Shiva and his family. But in the movie he was protrayed as a serious villain. He did not even bow in front of Lord Shiva after being granted with his wish. This was very disrespectful to Ravana, taking in account of the unmeasurable love he had for Lord Shiva.

Also few things have been changed to not to offend the people. He did some justice by taking that big story in only 2 parts. It should be taken as series.

And Surpanaka first body shamed Sita so lakshmanan used the same words against Surpanaka. Ungaloda Anni ah oruthi vanthu body shame panna neenga summa iruppengala ? Also, Valmiki Ramayana only mentions Rama, Ravanan and Surpanaka and all. But you trust that Ravanan exists but don't trust he's a bad guy. You Only take half info, why so ?
