For the launch of the collection combining the codes of two historic brands, Creative Director Alessandro Michele has envisioned a campaign that takes inspiration directly from an archival 1979 adidas catalogue. Adding a kinetic twist, the visuals come alive with energetic individuals stretching, running, or dancing in place to a soundtrack of pensive phrases portraying how adidas x Gucci sparks infinite interpretations.

Dopo aver sdoganato il genderless, adesso spero che Gucci crei una linea a costi sostenibili anche per chi vuole avere un capo Gucci e non ha tanti soldi! That's the problem with high fashion, it's never gonna be accesible for “mere mortals” or majority of people. When you buy Gucci pieces you're buying social status, recognition, exclusivity, not simple clothes to wear. If everyone can buy social status, it means there is no social status at all.

@@MiguelSchafer hai ragione! Io non dico di fare tutta la collezione low cost però, ma almeno una linea accessibile! Tra l’altro molti brand in passato hanno fatto collaborazioni con H&M per esempio, quindi non sarebbe una novità aprirsi ai comuni mortali! Secondo me Alessandro Michele potrebbe fare questa scelta, si tratta si capire se la Kering gli darà l’ok!
