you must change the way you run or else you will eventually come up with injuries. Try running with very minimalist shoes or barefoot and you will see the benefits.

Make sure you’re lifting your legs up behind you, not dragging them from behind you to in front of you. That really helped me overcome bad form and get that mid-foot Landing. Maybe that doesn’t make sense, it’s hard to describe but yeah great form helps

It's funny bc the UB 19 is actually very forgiving to heel strikers bc it's so boost focused on the heel.

@@prismatic1239 I was a forefoot striking growing up too. It does really start to fuck your shins up if you start running longer and longer distances though.

The moment she landed on the puddle kind of hurt my heart 😭😭😭

Love love love love love this! Of course the video is awesome, the content the quality is awesome as well. But I find to be the best feature about this video, is the growth of Nightwing! The versatility is amazballs! Mrs. Nightwing, you were of course amazing as well! I’ve been watching Nightwing for about 5-6 years now and have been just loving watching Nightwing grow, as a brand and an Icon!

Maxence Grégoire no way. I just got a pair of these yesterday and they’re so damn stiff feeling, nothing like the first Ultraboosts, I’m actually going to resell them and make my money back. I was very disappointed in how they felt.

Another great video. My wife has thinking about switching from an Under Armour Hovr to the Ultra Boost. so this video is right on time for her. On an unrelated note what's the music playing in th background? I like it, who ever it is.

Best part is you’re the first ones to see what I’ve seen, and that’s that they run a bit long and half sizing down is a good idea.

Great review, actually covering technology, terrain, distance, and specific features/design aspects that would effect your physical health and overall efficiency.

Aside from the "retro" soundtrack I love it when you use the "tai-chi"-ish soundtrack in the intro as well..

try the pegasus turbo! I run track and xc and it is definitely my favorite running shoe by far

How do they handle bottoming out? The terrain I'm frequenting constantly has golf ball size or larger rock that seem to find its way to digging into my heel with my current runners. With these would that be an issue?

I hope the outsole rubber on this is much better than the 5.0s. I have 5 pairs of Ultraboost shoes and they are all kinda bottoming out 25 to 50 miles in.

Went half a size up and they are godly comfy. My 4.0s were tight on TTS and a bit snug. But these are perfect. And yeah that damned stability is so good. Makes me think I can do way longer mileage on these versus the squishy exBoosts

I wish they would release some colour ways with black boost 🤔

That's my gripe as well. Not only for reeboks but any brand out there. Too many white soles. Just gets dirty and unattractive.

What shoes do you think look good used?

is the background song used only on shoes with favorable reviews?

I have the 2.0 and the ATR mid's, I can run really well in the 2.0 but the ATR's are way too mushy and the PK is too stretchy.

They do run big the old ones all are 9.5 the new ones I got are size 9 perfect fit half size down

Is the collar feel tight while on foot for long periods of time?

Casually, the 1.0 has the best aesthetics Imo, but the most comfortable for me was the 2.0/4.0 the thickness of the knit is what gets me

Hey there Chris, do you have any recommendations for outdoor basketball shoes? Or just shoes with more durable traction? All my current shoes have soft rubber so they get destroyed outdoors, so I wanted to pick up a cheapish pair of ball shoes to wear out often.

I use size 11 in all my Adidas shoes, are these true to size?

When i tried running with them there was too much slippage of the heel so my foot was more sore than usual because it kept trying to compensate for the heel slip

I got my girlfriend these last year and its still her go to running shoe, she loves them.

Ultraboost 19 are comfortable and great for training but not for racing. 310g for a size 9 is not a performance weight. The shoes are great but need to go on a diet if they are going to compete with Pegasus, NB Beacon, Hoka Carbon X..... Will be interesting to see if they bring a carbon model

Do they have the same wider toe box as the Nite Joggers...? I wear Orthotics so I need a little more room generally. I wear a 9.5 sneaker size. Should I stay at that or move to 10 or even 10.5 on the UB's...?

Phil Pine i would say the nite joggers have a wider toe box but you’d have to see for yourself. The ultra boosts seem to be slimmer compared to other boost shoes.

@@djstoj2063 Funny timing on your reply as I went to "Richards' House of Sports Stuff which may or may not include NASCAR " to try on a pair. They come close to being like the Nite Joggers but are narrower in the middle of the foot. If that plastic piece were absent they would probably be better. I actually may need to move up to a 10.5 (!) to accommodate the orthotic. Thanks for your help!

Hi, my tts is a size 8 on adidas shoes, leaving an empty space of an index finger between my toes and the front of the shoe. For running purposes, is my tts ok, or should I go half size up on this ultra boost 19?

Why not the Asics Kayano? Watching you run, I noticed that you foot pronate when you run, then you mentioned that you wear out 1 side faster, later you confirmed that you are flat-footed. I point this out because I'm flat-wide-footed & my children are as well. My oldest just completed basic training in the Asics Kayano 25 & loved them. I also bought a pair and I also love the feel. Wide feet have limited options & style which is disappointing but they feel great. We buy a lot of sneakers & these have some of the best support. When you get older your ankle area becomes painful, I have a stack of insoles for when we buy sneakers to change them out but I did not need it for the Kayano

Vic Bklyn I don’t have flat feet, actually I have the opposite, a high arch. I do like ASICS but there’s only 1 me and only so many shoes and miles I can run. Definitely agree that there isn’t much love for people with wide feet, I am super picky when it comes to that. If my feet don’t even feel comfortable upon initial try on I really don’t want to run in them.

Got these for my girl and she also loves them. She only uses them to run indoors.

You did not mention the change in the outsole pattern...the 19s have a cross like pattern while the 4.0s had circular pattern.

i have the 4.0 and 19s. Both great shoes. I do find the 19 more comfortable to wear overall!

I went half size up not down and still feel kind of tight.

Your the first person who wears the Ultra Boost half size smaller!! You should never touch the toe box in front, it's not good for your foot believe me.

Jordan Cama totally agree with ya. You gotta make sure your toes have room to spread out in running. Idk why in every other UltraBoost I’ve owned I’ve always been a 6.5, and that’s typically my go to size for running shoes. But NOT in the 2019 version. The 6.5 was HUGE.

Nah I run on my toes too. It’s just how I learned and my calves are rock solid. Heel first is more painful imo

Most people aren't forefoot strikers. It really fucks your shins up. But the people who can run have some of the prettiest form I've ever seen. Literally looks like they're gliding.

For the price point, they're not a versatile enough running shoe. You can only take it for easy long runs. Also the shoe is suuuper fking heavy.

You should have your wife do the intro sometimes to throw people off. Or just for the change.

I wonder if Dick Grayson wears Ultraboosts?

She had pain because her ankle is collapsing every step.. WOATA all day. Inside ankle bone should never be dropped low like that and also your heel should never release inward. Inside ankle bone high, heel away all day

No structural integrity with her movement, she will slowly destroy ankle, knee, hip and or back
