The Boston Marathon is a race. But it's also a goal, and a training plan and all the days it stays on your mind before the big one. The Adizero Boston 12 Shoes are built for mid- to long-distance running. They bring a race-day feel to training with a propulsive feel that comes from the glass-fiber infused ENERGYRODS 2.0, which limit energy loss underfoot. That's what normal people do. They lace their running shoes!
Went into adidas store to try on and here are my 2 cents: Takumi Sen 10 Faom: All Lightstrike Pro - softer and bouncy out of box Roomy toebox but heel and mid foot are very narrow - unstable for casual walking (feels hollow around mid foot even not flat feet) If you have narrow feet, this may not be a problem Boston 12 Faom: Lightstrike Pro (soft) on top of Lightstrike 2.0 (not as soft) - requires break-in Nice wide toebox - as wide feet, it's nice not to have to get bigger size Wider mid foot and heel compared to Takumi Sen 10, quite stable for casual walking Both have great breathability for similar mesh upper. looking fragile but surprisingly holds up nicely for wearing frequently. Eeay cleaning too Great outsole that lasts almost forever Both are lightweight Having to lace properly is definitely the tradeoff in casual wearing. Thin heel padding might "feel" like the shoes are floating away even though they are not Though Boston 12 is wider in the mid foot, it still requires to sit down to push your foot through the mid foot section (not uncomfy, just not roomy enough to do slip-in)

Nice breakdown thx for sharing!
just came here to say im looking forward to your Nike 180 review hahahaha. Like I see all these other people reviewing them early but I want to see yours.
Adidas Adizero Line aesthetics are always on point!! 👌
I got a Boston and run a little bit for it. It feels like a shoes wants you run at a correct way.
I really want a pair of Boston 12s cos my Boston 11s were so light and comfortable, but the upper on the 11s fell apart after about 2 months and I was only using them as casual shoes. Any insight into whether the 12s are more durable?
I have the boston 12 and have 900 kms already! Great shoe for long runs and speedwork to!

I have them also. Can’t find another pair in my size :(
I go out aiming to buy something else but always end up buying adidas. The 4d, the zx2k, the durano... I don't know
Will these shoes help you win drift battles?
Can you use grams on weighing the shoes from now on? Thank You
We need a wider light strike pro casual sneaker and both a light strike pro and fuel cell slide
Found the Boston 12 for 30 dollars on sale👍🏻
Which one is better for interval runs?

Good question but wrong channel to ask this. This channel reviews running shoes strictly for wearing them for casual, athleisure style for all day comfort. Think walking all day at amusement park. For running performance feedback, Try Kofuzi, Ginger Runner, or any of the many channels hosted by runners that review running shoes from a runner’s perspective.

Adidas is good, but I've been wearing brooks lately. I wear running shoes as casual shoes and the new glycerin is pretty good. And I LOVE the ghost max.
Can someone help me. How many kilometres could you get out the sen 10s??? I would use them for numerous 5/10ks a week….

Please use grams for weight measurement. Nobody knows what freedom units mean
Respect, Hes. But you cannot accurately or fairly judge elite running shoes from a casual perspective. It’s nonsensical. Your suggestions for casual wear improvements would detract from their performance. I have a lot of road time in adizero models. I don’t want them ruined by trying to make them shoes for everyone and everything. UBs worked for both uses because they aren’t elite runners. Solars work for casual use because they’re not elite runners. Duramos work for casual use because they’re not elite runners. Let’s support the models that naturally transition to lifestyle, and stop petitioning adizero to change what it has been and should always be. Rumors of a Boosted SL72 are out there. Check those out. ✌🏽💙👟

I totally hear you. I’m just saying if they made an alternate version for lifestyle and not the tracking from the actual running version you know what I mean?

If you’re concerned with the width, Adidas has a wide version of the Boston 12!
