Adhesions - Causes, Symptoms, Treatments & More…

Adhesions are bands of scar-like tissue. Normally, internal tissues and organs have slippery surfaces so they can shift easily as the body moves. Adhesions cause tissues and organs to stick together. They might connect the loops of the intestines to each other, to nearby organs, or to the wall of the abdomen. They can pull sections of the intestines out of place. This may block food from passing through the intestine.
Adhesions can occur anywhere in the body. But they often form after surgery on the abdomen. Almost everyone who has surgery on the abdomen gets adhesions. Some adhesions don't cause any problems. But when they partly or completely block the intestines, they cause symptoms such as
• Severe abdominal pain or cramping
• Vomiting
• Bloating
• An inability to pass gas
• Constipation
Adhesions can sometimes cause infertility in women by preventing fertilized eggs from reaching the uterus.
No tests are available to detect adhesions. Doctors usually find them during surgery to diagnose other problems.
Some adhesions go away by themselves. If they partly block your intestines, a diet low in fiber can allow food to move easily through the affected area. If you have a complete intestinal obstruction, it is life threatening. You should get immediate medical attention and may need surgery.

i broke all of mine free, little by little, using that cayenne pepper/tumeric mix, yoga and weightlifting. took about 6 months (maybe 8) before the last one finally released. had a LOT of muscle atrophy to deal with after that, but i (slowly) found my way back. hope this helps somebody else.

How did it feel when they broke? Was there sharp pain while dealing with it? I had laparoscopic appendectomy 3 weeks ago but wasn’t able to have solid bowel. Only loose bowels. And stomach keeps rumbling. What should I do? Any suggestions? Tips? Any Do and do nots?

@Hell Bent - i had 2 ablations right calf that helped get lots of fluid out of my lower back. after that, once my interstital fluids corrected, the adhesions started to peel free. another thing is to check the lymph system on your side. if all is well your mouth and sinuses will be wet, otherwisw dry dry dry and a bit bloody iafter vwaking up.

@@Mandalore.The.Hero7 - mine were caused by dehydration, sedentary lifestyle and venous insufficiency. yours are most likely surgical scars from when your body healed after your appendectomy. if i were you, i'd consult with a naturopath and ask about possible treatments and solutions. Hope you feel better soon!

Serrapeptase is the only treatment I can do along with stretching and still moving. I cannot take any pain medication prescribed or over the counter. I went from not being able to walk, and can barely do stairs most of the time. I struggle but the Serrapeptase has made a huge difference. Can get it at Natural Grocers. I tried to work landscaping-not happening yet. Slow process.

Use a 10 pound sand medicine ball to break it apart piece by piece I didn’t hurt my self at all no bruises I slowly broke my extreme body fascia adhesions that was killing me and made it impossible for me to get cracked or stretch this way of fixing your unaligned body should be the new way of how people help people with their suffering also bouncing on a ball helps but mostly bumping against the sand ball broke my extremely bad fascia adhesion that was keeping me stiff and out of place making me sick and tired and slowly killing me we all need to stretch this way we all have fascia adhesion that makes us stiff and live in pain and discomfort
