She was signed to a label releasing through XL Recordings, this single charted in 2008 after it appeared in Skins at a low place, then it reached 19th place in July 2008, the High Contrast remix was not made until 2009, so you really are wrong. She was known, she entered the UK charts. You enter the UK charts, you become known - especially at 19th place in the charts.
