I never realized how different kaycee’s and Sean’s styles were but they compliment each other so well.

Have you seen them dance to "false confidence"? That's a beautiful piece that Sean cherographed 🥲

I think one thing to note about why Kaycee and Sean are masterclass dancers, despite them being younger than a lot of people in the group is they have the performative experience that a lot of these dancers haven't developed yet. When you see K+S start the song, they're feeling it, but they're not over dramatizing it. They swell with the music, crash with the music and expel with the music-- but their personal flairs never expand past the actual song. Because of that, all their movements feel so much more natural and real and raw. This is in contrast to a lot of dancers (although great technically and did a great dance as well)-- they start the dance looking like they're about to cry unnecessarily. Like, the song hasn't even built up to the release/climax where that emotion has been "earned", but they're already starting off like they're in the chorus. But when you watch K+S start, they are just in the moment-- "tired, frustrated, lost etc." which is where Adele is when she starts the song. It's not until the chorus hits that K+S get extremely emotive as that's when Adele releases her plea. But even in the chorus, you can see them both taking moments to "breathe" as Adele does. They don't have crying faces through the whole thing.

So glad to see Sean and Kaycee dance together again. It's like a breath of fresh air. It's been too long.. Great job Kyle. Beautiful.

But why is nobody discussing Ken? This boy has GROWN in his ability to express emotion. Wow. Of course Kaycee and Sean. I don’t even have words because nothing I can say will be enough. 🥲 Kyle, thank you for choreographing a piece that feels nostalgic and open and forgiving.

Kaycee.. wow. I have never watched someone who can dance and express any types of emotion like she does. She's gifted.

kaycee’s facial expressions just make her performance that much better

The guy in the middle in the first trio was stunning. He went through every corner of the choreography. His movements were so fluid and continuous that he seemingly flowed thru the choreography.

I'm new to this site. I agree the guy in the middle of the 1st trio is amazing! I've watched him dozen of time! Brilliant.

I just read the comments. That's Ken in the LA hat. I've always seen him doing hip hop. Wow...I see he is versatile. Ken, Kaycee and Sean grew up taking the same dance classes. There is something special about the group of young dancers who were apart of Matt Steffanina classes.

The mini Sean and Kaycee drought was so worth it for this piece. I think it'll be one I watch over and over again.

Kyle… I was not prepared for this masterpiece.. I shouldn’t be crying on a Sunday morning :’)

Sean and Kaycee to Kyles choreography will always put me in shock for at least a week then I’d process it. The choreography is absolutely gorgeous and it fits the song so well, Kyle, you’re insane and what you create is always so so beautiful. Sean and Kaycee always produce this chemistry and it always shows even on screen how strong their connection is. Love the emotions Kaycee portrayed in the choreo and how smoothly she did flowed through the moves, and Sean was sooo so gentle and his steps were lightweight. It was gorgeous. This duo yall. This trio. Bawling an ocean over here???

Kaycee is so graceful yet powerful and sharp at the same time…it blows my mind.

Kaycee and sean all the way. As a dancer myself, Kaycee's Line is perfect and movements are well controlled. Timing and pace of every movement is on point. And she carries the emotion in the choreography, as where Sean compliments that emotion.

Kaycee's line is so beautiful and her expressions are a joy to watch. gosh, what a beautiful piece this coreography!

I am literally shocked because I never thought I'd see Kenneth doing something more contemporary! Woah.

These two, you guys. THESE TWO! The way she looks to him TWICE as they start, as if to ensure that he's there next to her. Her smile as Adele sings "I know there is hope ... in these waters." How he points to her. And reaches for her after THAT SPIN. The way he holds for a fraction of a beat at 1:58 so she can SEE him turn away from her and then how she reaches for him and drops her arms so dejectedly when he's out of reach. His look at her as the chorus starts. His confusion as she pulls away, shaking her head "no". His hand TREMBLING as she takes it. They might have had a little discussion after learning the choreo and before Kyle called them up to do their runthrough, but it's probably more likely that they just improv'ed this duet on the floor. Think about that. They are at a point where they can take someone ELSE'S choreo (granted, it's Kyle's, so that helps), which they learned in probably an hour or so, and put nearly as much emotion and storytelling into the performance as they did when they first teamed up with "Wrong Words" and the WOD pieces that they had days and days to create. They are two generational talents combined into a partnership that's almost beyond belief.

I love watching Adam Vesperman in these slower dances - aside from being an absolute specimen of a man, his ballet training really shines through, his physicality and form are always so strong. And I'm not usually a Sean and Kaycee stan but I'm really impressed by the connection they have and the vulnerability they show with each other at such a young age, it makes for a compelling routine. My favourite performance was Jake Kodish though. Nothing flashy, no huge emotional displays but you could feel it in the push-and-pull of all his movements, and the subtle details he added. Plus he looked light as a feather throughout.
