Same for kids! I loved Sarah's minimalist kid wardrobe videos. For me, declining donations or passing a good chunk of received kid's clothes on is in the line of the reduction of thrifting "not exactly perfect, but fine" items that in turn clog up the mental space and physical space leaving me feel like there's not enough nice-looking comfortable and practical pieces despite the big quantity of clothing.

I've been wearing mostly dresses for almost a year for the same reasons. I was pregnant+post partum last summer and now pregnant again and dresses are so easy to fit into! 😅 No worries about pants being too big or too small, zippers bursting or needing a belt. So much easier!

I'm really glad that you talked about not showing your kids faces so much. Honestly, I haven't watched your videos for a while because I don't want to support family channels that make it about the kids personal lives, and I'm happy to see that you don't and that you're thoughtful about this topic. I'm here because YOU inspire me, and it gives me peace of heart, knowing that it isn't hurting your kids. Keep doing what you're doing, you're amazing!

I always think back to when my kids were little and wonder if room sharing would’ve been better for them. Neither of them like sleeping by themselves and would wake almost nightly, to come crawl into our bed. So I wonder if they were together, if they would’ve felt less lonely and more comfortable in their own room.

After having my 3rd I realized how practical skirts are dresses are. Much easier to fit into while pregnant and pp, and easy to breastfeed in a high-waisted skirt. I’m now pregnant with my 5th and my belly is growing but most of my closet fits easily. I love it too and would also love a wardrobe tour!

Trying to stay focused on things that help me strengthen my relationship with God and my family (the most important thing) and the things that need to be done around my home that enables me to be fully present in those relationships. So true about room sharing. Do it while they’re young or, in my experience, older. Between one and two is a hard age for transitions, no matter what kind. We just put my 2.5 year old with my 4 year old so my 7 month old could have the nursery and it went super well. They take longer to go to sleep because the talk but my 2 year old no longer wakes up at night!

2 books that I have loved reading are "M is for Mama" and "Hard is Not the Same Tbing as Bad". Both by Abbie Halberstadt, a Bible believing mama of 10. They pack punches that us mama's may not always want to hear (since we are called to a higher standard as Christians), but have humor, good tips and SO MUCH good scripture laced throughout. highly highly recommend

Most are from Neuflora, Son de Flor, Peplum Co. ( linen), Christy Dawn, Wilder and some are thrifted. One is from her mom or grandmother. A red floral one. She doesn’t wear it on the regular. She has a Christy Dawn one that is also a tiny red floral similar to the one from her Mom so she wears that more instead. She wouldn’t be able to link many of her dresses specifically because they are from Neuflora which sells out immediately each month and often old styles or prints/ colors are never brought in again.

In the house: water or dry rice activities, painting or chalk drawing, CDs to dance and sing to, reading time, fine motor activities appropriate for each age, helping in the kitchen by baking cookies or muffins, or adding final touches on dishes like sprinkling cheese or adding salad ingredients, making herbal (flower) tea & letting them do a smell of each and one scoop into the pot, quiet drawing or playdough while you take 5 minutes for YOU, caring for baby dolls, racing toy cars, rolling a ball to each other, duplo or magnatile, tracing shapes you draw first in a different colour, etc. Pinterest is a great source of more in house player craft ideas (my older 2 love the felt busy book pages I made them and I enjoyed creating something that would last multiple little ones). Out of the house: Local free museums and parks make great, inexpensive day trips, or anywhere kiddies can roam free. Beach, forest, mountain, even nature walks around the neighborhood can be great fun for them and give you some breathing room as they play where they can be noisy. I'm pregnant with my 3rd and stocking up on lots of crafts for the 1st 2 weeks after Baba comes for my older 2, as I'm not going to be as mobile for a while. It often seems overwhelming but planning even 1 or 2 small structured things with them a day can help you find that rest time you sound like you need as well. If you can, ask your family to pop in to play, or do a video call and speak to them, while you clean crafts up or set out a new activity. Chat to mom friends of yours as well (or other moms at church or online forums) and you'll likely find a wealth of information and even more ideas. Good luck!

As a long-time creator I'm sure you're intricately aware that how you present yourself on your channel is what you're promoting as your content style. I understand that you feel more comfortable in dresses and skirts now (especially postpartum) but are you also trying to attract an audience that is looking for more trad-wife content? I ask because I enjoy your content, but I subscribed initially because of your room cleaning and organizing videos. I'm not a parent, or a wife (yet) and I am not religious. I was wondering if this content is going to become more weighted in that direction as you and your channel continues to grow.

I mean, she has always been transparent with her religious beliefs, way before the trad-wife trend. Her content has evolved because she no longer feels comfortable showing so much of her kids and prefers the homemaking content. Also because vloging took too much of her time away (same thing happened with Sarah Therese for example). I get what you mean, but Delilah has never pretended that she is just a traditional wife who does not earn money with social media.

@@UnicornRoseDust I do love how transparent Delilah has been in her videos (I have been a subscriber since before she learned she was expecting William). I am loving her approach to her children's privacy and that is one of the main reasons I am still supporting her channel. 💗 My question is just because I have noticed the uptick in trad-wife popularity, and over these last few years she has been getting increasingly more open about her religion. This is absolutely fine! I love the beauty in some aspects of that lifestyle, I am just curious about the aim of her channel moving forward.

@Terragiggles I think the preganancy with William was part if the reason why. She had very strong beliefs that God helped her through that with all that happened and how traumatic it was. And then with Anna, she believes he gave her the birth she was hoping for so to me it seems that it's based on how her life has been, not necessarily the trend of trad wives. I think she started discussing religion more because of these 2 things

I would say there’s nothing wrong to showing your kids faces. I think it’s always interesting as part of your brand. Your children are part of that brand so you show bits and bobs up which is fine. Just don’t always suddenly feel like you have to copy other creators and how they’re doing things and everything which I’ve seen you done quite a bit copying couple of other people.

Mama of six here, and I agreed with just about EVERYTHING you shared in this video. 🤍 So much of this has been true for our family, as well. And I was amused that my twenty-one-month-old literally walked up to me mid-tantrum when you got to that subject. 😂 We don’t have all the answers, either. I’ve struggled with irritation over this in the past, but the Lord is giving me much more compassion this time around, to calmly comfort without necessarily caving in (although I probably cave into my toddler’s desires more often this time around since he’s my baby; the stereotype is weirdly real). 😊
