I deleted my social media as soon as I got pregnant bc my husband didn't want ppl that we knew to creep us and keep up with our lives. Which I get so I chose to do it .. But I am here to say that all of that is an opinion. When u live and work as a social media influencer how the hell would u not want ppl to ever see ur daughter. Every single human does, more than ppl doesn't, shows their whole family in pics online. That's how ppl from diff states keep in touch with family. Kids get taken, and stalked and etc a lot and that has nothing to do with social media. I understand they are famous for this so they have tons of random ppls eyes on them. But ppl like this is the ones who gets on everyone's nerves in the world the most.... U can not tell someone what to do with their family just bc u believe and do something a certain way. Just bc she has her baby girl in pics and videos does not mean their bad parents. And how are u say "for ur sake" bc that comes off as rude and like a threat. If every parent who has exposed their child on KZread, FB, IG or tiktok was bad parents then everyone mostly would be bad parents. And u can def tell @KatieVlogs is very awesome parents and treat their baby better than most ppl in the world that isn't on KZread. Do you know some ppl beat their kids for being loud or getting into trouble. U know some dads are pervs. U know some kids don't have anything at all and live in filthy FN houses with no food or clean clothes. U know some kids sleep on the floor with no bed with five or however many kids. U know more than 45% of kids grow up with parents who are on drugs and who put drugs before their kids and their kids needs. Do u know some moms pimp their daughters out for money.... There are way more problems and issues in the world today. And way fn more things to be worrying about when it comes to children's safety than if their in a video on KZread or not. Why aren't all of you going to all the crack heads giving them letters about how for their sake they need to change for their kids???? I was raised very well as a kid. But I do have to say I'd rather live a life like Skye Mae is fixing too. Than half of the kids growing up in my neighborhood with real shits for parents. @JatieVlogs these are ppl who just get off on hate and wanna always say ur living wrong like their way is the only way. Ignore them and always do what's best for you and your family. Always. Bc THESE PPLS WAYS ASS OF LIFE AND WISDOM ON PARENTING ISSSS NOTTTTT THE ONLY RIGHT WAY TO RAISE A CHILD. ITS A FN OPINION AND ITS 2024 NOT 1950. THE WORLD CHANGES AND WE ADAPT TO THE WORLD!!!! AND IF THIS WORKS FOR U SINCE YAH KNOW, IT IS UR EVERY DAY LIFE... DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PPL. THESE PPL ARE LIKE SPIDERS. MEAN HATERS SNEAKING IN WHERE THEIR NOT WANTED SO GO LECTURE THE KARDASHIANS AND THE PPL WHO HAVE NANNIES RAISING THEIR KIDS AND JUST WANNA SHOW UP FOR A QUICK IG PHOTO FOR THE FANS!!!!

I love you both so much but please listen! 21:52 because influencers have a huge audience and predators can easily find it- as well as the amount of predators watching it is MUCH greater than a normal person posting on Facebook and stuff. Normal people typically don’t have creeps looking at their stuff because they aren’t relevant or known. But also- little babies and children CAN’T consent to being filmed and put on the internet for millions to watch. It could potentially ruin their future even. Aside from that how embarrassed they might be that all of their cringy moments as a child are out there for the world to see. I’m not a hater, I genuinely just care about you guys and your family. The internet is forever. She can be featured in videos because we understand she will become your entire life and it’s hard not to show that, but please don’t make her the sol topic of videos or anything like that. ❤️

The difference in you having embarrassing pictures taken of you and them having their whole life on the internet is you get to chose if the whole world sees that picture they do not. Anyone at anytime will be able to go watch your kid grow up. They don't get a choice of who they get to share their life with, you are taking their choice away and that isn't fair to them. Why is it ok with you that anyone at anytime can watch your kids life. why don't they get the choice ?

It’s absolutely ridiculous to try and say that your friend posting their child is the same as you posting your child… it absolutely not. Child exploitation is financially gaining from your child which you said your friend doesnt gain money from it…. However you will!! That means you will be child exploiters.. you can make as many excuses as you want but that’s the stupidest excuse anyone has ever made. You can have a family and not show your child in your KZread… you shouldn’t rely on showing your daughter to keep a fan base. It’s disgusting to think that you can dictate your child’s feeling with being embarrassed. You can’t. They have their own feeling and emotions and you stunting them feeling those is going to cause issues with them learning how to properly show emotions. Make all the excuses you want but the second you put your daughter on your KZread channel and decide to put her in that life youre taking away her choice entirely. You may be her parents but that doesn’t give you the right to put her in the eyes of so many predators and with AI it can be so much worse… That’s disgusting and honestly will be terrible parenting

Truth is that children DO NOT have the ability to give informed consent, so if you post your child on line and earn a penny from it, it IS child exploitation. It IS forcing your child to work. It doesn't matter how many excuses you come up with to justify being child exploiters, the result is the same, you are putting your child in danger. Worried that your fans will be mad at you if you protect your child, seriously, your fans are complete strangers to you, why would you care? The only thing you fear is losing fans and views if you protect your baby. I would hope that you would care about your child more than your fan base. Are you going to tell people your child's name? Will they know your child's birthday? How about embarrassing moments, funny comments, health concerns, doctors visits, injuries. Are you going to film feeding your child or watch them eating. If you answered yes to any of this, its exploitation. Its sharing the stories that are not your stories for views and money. By the way, the most downloaded and copied moments for children are when you show them eating or show their bare feet. Ask yourself why? What do complete strangers want with a picture of your baby's feet or your baby putting food in their mouth. If you don't like negative comments then get OFF social media, because we have as much right to comment as anyone. Negative or positive, you are still getting paid. Will you ever have your child in shorts, if so, don't try to tell me that you will never coach or tell them what to do.

I watch your blogs and I watch your shorts, but I feel like the energy between the two of you just sitting down and chatting if so up in chicken awesome and it's not revved up for any reason. I think two for the people that thank you for your money, sometimes it's hard to see young people doing well, and I think that that's sad because you've worked hard for what you have. I'm not in a financially well physician at all, as I was a stay-at-home mom for 22 years and a military wife. I left you two domestic violence and I have had to fight bite and scratch for everything that I have right now, which honestly is not much. I live in an RV and I drive a car that's 21 years old. But I needed to wait until my son was out of school to concentrate on what I needed to do and then my health took a recent crash in the last six months since having spinal surgery. I enjoy watching people enjoy their lives. My grandparents did very well for themselves, and I'm forever grateful for the lessons that they taught me. Your love for Jesus is the most fantastic thing about you both. And I can't wait to see your little girl grow up and learn to love Jesus right alongside you!

The price of houses in different states/cities is different everywhere as well as cost of living. The very fact that they wouldnt say they were rich and trying to steer the question in a different direction tells us all we need to know. They are obviously rich and are either embarrassed to say it/how they got it or want to come off as relatable and they know people who watch them aren’t rich so saying they are wouldn’t be relatable to their audience.

I don’t understand the whole exploiting children situation. Yes I’m sure there are some that have/do but I don’t think that’s the case for most and surely don’t think that would be the case with you two. This is your job, to share your life with us. Imagine the amounts of people who genuinely watch every single video who are excited to see this phase in your journey. I think the term has just blown up in the wrong way because of social media and especially ever since tiktok blew up.

Making money off your children is exploiting your child. The child has no say if he or she can be flimed. Every family vlogger exploits their kid. Some of these kids never see a penny from it either. It's not normal for a child to be viewed by millions of people daily. Some family vloggers have social media pages for their children and meet and greets. Pedophile are subscribed to these channels and social media pages. Not only do these family vloggers flim their child. But they give the child full legal name on the internet, birthday, and personal information. There's has been cases where children from social media photos were found on child sex trafficking websites. The internet is not a safe place for children period.

@rae-hn1qh Exploitation is financially gaining by showing your child… which is exactly what they were saying they were going to do. Their child will be WAY to young to actually agree to having any of their life online and if they put her online they are taking that choice away completely.. also with AI coming out and all the new technology predators can easily change a video to be something else and having their daughter in that kind of world is gross and very stupid of them It’s very naive to think that you can just teach your daughter not to be embarrassed nor do they have the right to try and dictate her feelings at all. She’s her own person and them telling her to feel a certain way is gonna cause issues with her being able to show her emotions the way she’s meant to.

Lets sexualize children because thats how the damn world is heading. Lets keep our children safe because good parents will keep them off of the internet.

With all respect, it’s very different posting your kids as a normal person vs when you’re an influencer. The amount of predators is insane- normal people don’t really have creeps looking at their kids. When you have millions of people watching you, there are many many creeps that watch as well. Children cannot consent to being posted either. For normal people it’s fine because not many people see it. But with people with huge followings, this stuff could affect the kids future including future jobs. I know that sounds stupid but it’s true. The internet is forever. Imagine all your embarrassing moments as a kid being recorded and put online for millions to see. It also makes the kid the bread winner in these situations. Just trying to put it into perspective ❤️❤️❤️ (And I love Josh and Katie, this is not in any way hate

@@Imfunny normal people definitely DO have creeps looking into their kids. It’s been happening long before social media and it’s more often than not someone close to the family. (Family friends or even relatives) You think kids need consent to be posted unless they are “normal” because less creeps will see it? Agree to disagree. :) I also am typically posting my daughter’s successes and not her “embarrassing moments” but I think probably all parents should avoid that. Normal and otherwise.

@@Extraordinaryee i understand that, but there is a difference in the amount of people. It does make a difference. My mom posts me on social media but her accounts are private and i’m protected. People also use there kids for monetary gain and that can’t be denied. I’m 19 years old and I know that. I’m not saying Josh and Katie would ever post their kid for money, they have good hearts- but you can’t deny that family channels make money off of their kids. The intention doesn’t matter. I’m not gonna argue that fact, i’m trying to be respectful because people see things differently but I don’t think it’s okay for these little girls out here to have analytics of 80% men over the age of 18 watching their content.
