Adding Stippling to your designs with StitchArtist
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This mini lesson shows you how to add stippling to an embroidery design using StitchArtist L1. The process is as easy as creating an object and adding a stippling stitch! If you want a hole in that object, Lisa will show you how to do that using built in shapes and then reshaping them to mimic the outline of the design you want to stipple around.

I needed to do this today and a quick search of KZread and up you popped. You are my favourite teacher and your instructions were “as always” perfect. Thank you so much Lisa 🙏🏻
You are just the BEST instructor! You make it fun AND easy! Thank you for a great video!
This was way easier! I was trying to add stippling around my ladybug, but I was going about it in the wrong way. Thank you!
Thank you for another great tutorial.

You are a star Lisa. Love this lesson. Thanks
Ooh I didn't know I could do that, thanks!
Holy cow! This is wonderful!!
Awesome!! Thank you!!
thank you so much, great job
This is great to learn! I wish it could do it with the “lace” option but it wouldn’t be able to have a continuous line I suppose.

Wow
I have Stitch Artist L1 but the "add a hole" feature isn't highlighted. what can I do?

Same here.
Does the outside boundary AND the hole shapes both need to be created from the Draw menu as opposed to making the shapes from the "merge designs from library". I have two concentric circles (eyeball) and want to cut out the "motif filled" center. Can't get it to work using the shapes from the library.

They need to be in the same design as shown in the object tree of the video. Reach out to support if you need further troubleshooting. Http://embrilliance.com/contact-us/
Can you add a hole to an imported background quilting design (such as ones from Kimberbell)? Or, will this only work with Embrilliance stippling?

Only objects created in StitchArtist such as stippling or motifs etc
Just got the stitch artist and making a quilt with blocks. I have an existing pes/be file of soldiers boots that I would like to add stipple to. Is that possible? I can draw the first square and put the boots in it, put the hole around it and apply the stipple but it goes over my boots. What am I doing wrong????

You need to add a hole as shown in the video. Please reach out to support if you need assistance. Http://embrilliance.com/contact-us/
I've been trying to do this with no luck. Just have to keep trying! The create a hole just fills in the entire design with stippling. I have all of the modules, and usually once I watch these that AHA! moment happens. My ancient Mac isn't cooperating either today! :(
