What's unique here is using a 2"X2" wood "shim" to get around the door hinges. This makes a bit narrower drawer, but I also made a deeper drawer than what the instructions illustrate, so it is possible. Thus, you can make your drawer size longer than the slide that is mounted to it - within reason.
Also, these drawer slides technically hold about 75 lbs, which is on the edge for any heavy appliances or stacked glass/ceramic dishes. I recommend a safety factor that equates to no more than 50 lbs.
