What are your recommendations for equipment? Finding a good filter, pump, and light are proving to be not so easy any help would be much appreciated love the mangrove bowl 👍
Looks awesome man, what parameters do you shoot for in the bowl? You doing any water changes or dosing anything consistently?

try not to go over 1.030 they best thrive @ 1.015

@@retro5014 Thanks. Rus at Aquarimax Pets said they could survive full strength seawater (1.025) but won't reproduce in it. Too bad, I don't currently have any, but I was thinking it would be cool to have them in breeder box hanging on the back of micro reef tank - most of them would stay in the box, but a few of their babies might get washed into the main tank & feed the corals or fish in the main tank.
Do you know if sea fans shed?

They periodically shed their coating to remove any algae that’s growing or building up on em!

@@kingtidecorals thanks for the quick reply man! Didnt know if it was something to be worried about. Picked up a photosynthetic one a week ago today actually. Woke up to it shedding kinda freaked me out at first!

Add more reverse osmosis water to it

As stated earlier, best method is to add more fresh water RODI to your mixed batch to help lower its salinity level till you reach your desired level
