I used to try to force every layout into two pages, but I'm more relaxed about scrapbooking now, and I don't mind if two unrelated one page layouts face each other in my albums. Love your fun school layout!

I'm the same way, it doesn't bother me at all that the 2 pages side by side are different themes and colors. I just can't take 3 photos and make a page spread, it seems like a waste of space and my albums are already so full.

Loved this! Using the scraps with office or school related tools was inspired. Thanks for the idea! I have all those CM tools except the tag punch... but can use Sizzlits and Sidekick, OR some dies and my Bigshot. I was thinking l'd turn that base page's paper horizontally, and you did it, further underlining for me that we scrap similarly! LOL!! Hubby and I had "2 batches" of kiddos,🎉 4.5 years apart, so we had 2 older ones and 2 younger! (B'days in 1994, 1995, 2000 and 2002.) One year we had the fun of kids in THREE different schools. Your kids fall pretty much in the center of ours. I had a feeling that they were around the same ages. ❤ Love that! Great job on this page... making a shelf for the 3 pics was a very good beginning. NO Tag punch!! That's my favorite one, LOL!! I have some metal dies as well, but since I have the punch it's so quick to use. Yes, our kids are pretty close in age, mine are 1995, 1997, 1999. I had that "one year" when they were at three different schools, it was horrible. Spent so much time in the car, including afterschool activities. Thanks for all your wonderful comments, it means a lot to me!
